With the minor arcana cards in your decks, do you prefer them to be pip cards or fully illustrated? I've found as I read more, that I'm not as fond of pip cards as I am fully illustrated. I like to try and pull my symbolism from what I see, and with pip cards, there's usually nothing there. Sometimes I derive meaning from the positioning on the cards, but otherwise I feel like they lack the information needed. |

yeah i don't read with pips at all. There's so much more opportunity for intuition with illustrated cards, I feel like without them you're locked into whatever definition you've memorized |

I mean, think about the word pip... It's like orange pips or plum stones, also called pips. It's the pieces you throw away... |

Funny you should say that. I have the Labyrinth Tarot. The art is amazing, but the minors are pips and I've really been thinking about excluding the 2s-10s and just using it as an added layer to readings with other decks |

That makes a lot of sense. I've been thinking of doing the same thing with my Sasha Fenton deck. I love the majors, but the 1-10 are awful. |

I don't see why you couldn't do just that. A major deck just to work through certain kinds of readings, or use them to supplement a reading that you've done with another deck, kinda like most people say they use oracle decks. |
