So, This is something new, I'm just kinda writing here right now. First off, I want to thank you guys so much for 7500 total video views and almost 1000 on the Prison Architect video. Secondly, Falco_Fart and I watched The Usual Suspects with Kevin Spacey a couple days ago and wow, that is an amazing movie. Like I'm talking Emperor with Tommy Lee Jones good, or even maybe Warm Bodies with Teresa Palmer and Nicolas Hoult good. Also, I watched Camp X-Ray on Netflix with Kristen Steward, and before you dismiss it, she has some real acting chops in that movie. It has proved to me that she can act, and is almost enough to make me want to go and watch American Ultra, but not quite. I think that in CXR, Peyman Moaadi really steals the show in his first major role. The tension and emotion between the two is just amazing. Plus, Harry Potter. That makes this movie great too. Other movies I extremely enjoy are: Kings of Summer with Moises Arias (the kid from Wizards of Waverly Place), The Way Way Back with Steve Carrell, Batman: Dark Knight Returns (Part 1 and 2) (also, read that comic book because, amazeballs), and The Admiral: Roaring Currents, a fun international movie which I can only assume is in half Korean and half Japanese. I also like The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, a Swedish movie that has some English in it, but you could just turn on subtitles on Netflix (which all of these movies have been on Netflix or are on Canadian Netflix currently) or The Guard with Don Cheadle from Iron Man, which is a great film as well. But if we're talking about Netflix TV shows, then my hat's gotta go off to Marco Polo with Benedict Wong, (who'd I'd only seen in an episode of Covert Affairs, a TV show also on Netflix that didn't deserve to get cancelled because it was really good in my opinion) this documentary/historically accurate enough TV show is funny, violent, and beautiful to watch. The acting is great from Hundred Eyes, my favorite character. Another great TV show on Netflix is animated, it's Archer! This is a show that I binged watched in a couple of days. All 7 seasons. This show is great, Sterling Malory Archer is great, Lana Kane is great, Pam is good, Cyril is pretty good, Cheryl/Carol is pretty annoying to be honest but, overall this show is pretty amazing. Really what I'm trying to say is don't watch Empire State with Gale from Hunger Games and The Rock (or is it Dwayne Johnson now?) because the acting is pretty crappy and the story is flawed. Anyway, good bye now. -TALPERS |
