"Don't eat yet!" screeched my girlfriend. "I have to take a photo!" I watched patiently as she positioned herself over my quickly growing cold linguine, adjusted the fork next to it just so, then captured it with and without a flash, just in case. As she chose a filter, and uploaded it complete with carefully chosen comment and hash tags, I wondered if this now normal practice of phone over friends is accepted good behaviour, or simply bad manners? More importantly does it matter? Link to the story. |
