I doubt he'll get elected, granted the email thing hasn't done Clinton any good, but I still think she'll get in long before Trump does.. |

I think she will get in to. I just wish the senate would work on another gun control bill. We need some changes badly. |

What about the constitution? That give people the right to bare arms... |

You are right it does give people the right to bear arms. I don't think when they wrote the constitution that they had a clue about assault guns coming out. IMO you can bear arms with a 22 pistol rather then a glock. |

The problem as I see it, the constitution gives the right to bear whatever arms you want, in the old days when it was written there was probably only single shot flintlock guns around, times have changed a lot since then eh... |

Yes they have and now they need to compensate for that. IMO to have a gun for go hunting for food is one thing but to go hunting with an assault rifle there would be know food left to eat. So in reality they were made to kill people. In my history book it says that the congress passed the amendment into law on September 25th, 1789. It was then ratified on the 15th of December, 1791. So going by those dates you had to reload your guns every time you shot them if I recall correctly. |

Using an assault rifle for hunting is silly, especially as it can fire 30 plus rounds a minute, most people only kill what they need to live, so killing say 30 deer, or pigs in one minute is wasteful, the only time a gun like that is of any use is in a war situation, I guess that's why things evolved from the flintlock which only shot one round and needed reloading to revolvers and the Winchester rifles which held several rounds and would almost fire like a semi automatic weapon... |

That is why I hope that the senate will put a bill on the floor to do something about it. To many lives are being lost for no reason other then people can shoot another human being. I am just so tired of it. |

I think he is pushing just not getting anywhere. The republicans are not wanting to do anything about it. |

Have to wonder how many more deaths it'll take before they change their minds, IMHO there's already been far to many.. |

I'm thinking it won't be too long before you have your first woman president, you've got your first black president, so a woman would be a good next step.. |
