IMHO that's where the problem is, memories aren't perfect, possibly peoples perception of events changes over time because of it.. |

Yup, that and how long ago things happened, we all forget less important things, those are the things that could win a case to. |

I doubt there's anyone out there that can remember every single detail of any single event that happened say 30 years or more ago even if it was a negative event.. |

I know your memories pretty good, but if I asked you about something that you did or something that happened over 30 years ago could you tell me every little detail? |

I'd remember a lot of an event, but not every little detail, not after that long.. |

I reckon it'd be things like dates and times would likely get forgotten first, no doubt most people would only remember approximately when something happened.. |

I got asked when an old family friend died recently, I knew the person died in the 80's, but I couldn't put a date or exact year on it and we were fairly close to the family too, so how people can remember everything from specific events years ago beats me unless they keep a diary or something. |

I think most of us would need to keep a detailed diary to remember everything. |

I do diaries for the shops, but only for things like appointments and any functions I have to supply or big orders for someone, it's to easy to forget about them if I get busy, if things are in the diary I remember to get extra stock and staff on. |

Strange, we were good at keeping diaries for work, but not for our private lives.. If I have say a doctor appointment it gets scribbled on the calendar, not in a diary.. |

Same here, that is if I'm near the calendar when I make the appointment. I've started putting them in the shop diary now though, that way no clashes with business appointments. |

You to eh, I used to get 3 or 4 appointments within 15 minutes of each other some times, had to make the rule of checking my diary first. |

I had that happen twice, then got the diary and told everyone to check it and add or remove as necessary after that.. |

Ouch, I always had the diary with me so if the staff took orders or appointments, or anything else they had to put it in there for me if I didn't take the order or make the appointment, I got quite tough on it too... |

I ended up making a rule saying anything not put in the diary meant the loss of half an hours wages. |

Hmmm, fair enough I guess, triple appointments could cost a lot more than that especially if it's order related.. |

Luckily I got 2 back, it took a lot of doing though, the third one was worth the big money, that's why I was so peed at losing it. |
