If it is possible for any of you to tell me, I would like to hear a brief overview of the storyline. I would definitely not like any spoilers for plot twists after halfway through, or the ending. Just the Protagonists, Antagonists and goals. Thanks in advance. |

Well, this is the hard part. Beyond the basic premise, it's all spoilers and plot twists. Miku awakens one morning to find her family has disappeared. Driven by fear, she picks up her Dad's old war sword and her mother's spell book, leaves her childhood home in the forest (that she's lived in literally all her life), and goes to the only place she thinks they could have gone: the nearby castle town of Alexandria. She doesn't find her family there, but she does find allies in the form of both the Inn keeper Mary (an old friend of her father's), and the local archaeology group (The Explorer's Guild), who also function as your means of accessing side quests. From there, it's a wild journey (to say the least), going from place to place discovering different things and meeting amazing people. So, to answer your questions, the protagonist is Miku, the goal is to find her family (among other things as the story progresses), and the antagonist...well, that's a secret. Part of the mystery is finding out what happened to her Mom, Dad, and older brother, and why she didn't disappear along with them. I will tell you one thing, though: this isn't a story about some ancient power sleeping within her, or having some kind of amazing destiny foretold by the gods, or her using the almighty mystical dodad that can thwart all evil or some cliche crap like that. She's just an ordinary kid caught up in something truly unbelievable. Edited by Whatthefnu, Aug 8 2012, 03:05 AM.
