I like Mystery novels, as they're one of the few books that can keep my interested since it creates suspense and makes me want to keep reading. Otherwise I'll stop, because I can usually figure out what's going to happen. :P

I also like historical books, just because I'm a history buff.

I have to second what GAK said. I voted Historical, but I am a Law person, and if I have a good novel, I refuse to do anything but read.( I might get some quickly to eat, but I will bring the book in the kitchen! :P )

Probably fantasy... Romance and comedy are both close seconds, though (I prefer neither).

Horror and Sci-Fi are generally my favourite - so I guess Fantasy includes those. :)

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Mystery is always interesting, but I love fantasy. Literature is wonderful because it has so many possibilities; well, fantasy has even more than that and you never know what you're going to get when you pick a fantasy novel up.

I'm a fantasy/sci-fi guy. But I like to say I enjoy "good books". My favorite author is JD Salinger, but Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories are a close second.
