Ahh, gotcha. Is the class that long because of the program or because it's summer, or is that how long it is during the regular year too?

Apparently regular quarter classes are 8 weeks. But at the branch, every summer (or so the orientation lady said :P ), they split the summer quarter in half, and have two separate summer quarters. With that program I'm enrolled in, you're only allowed to take one. So it's that long because of it is the summer; though out of the twenty-two students in the class, only five other are high schoolers. Thankfully, two of the girls in my class go to my school and are my friends... so at least I know someone :devious:

Are a lot of the people from your high school going to the same college as you?

Well, those enrolled in this program, yes. It's the only college that offers it for this part of Ohio, I believe. (If that's what you mean.) However, not everyone in high school is allowed to do this. You must be in the 20% of your class.

Our "community college" (it's technically a university, but anyone gets in) offers college credit classes during high school, similar to that but it's during the school year and not over the summer. A lot of kids do go there when they get out of high school, because like I said, it is so easy to get into. I was accepted there before my transcript had even been sent. I just applied for the heck of it, it was free during a special week. I'd imagine Leon's local college is like that.

Pretty good. :) I was pleasantly surprised when I took out my dog this morning to use the restroom at about 7 and realized it was actually a little cool. Nothing bad, but cool considering how hot it has been lately.

Oh, definitely. I woke up this morning and the apartment was freezing between our air conditioners and fan. Walking home today will be more pleasant than usual. :P

The only downside to that, of course, is the fact I won't be able to swim today. But it's supposed to be back in the nineties for the next 6 days... So I guess I'll just have to be patient with today's 81-degree high. :r
