Maybe it's just me, but I like it when people use proper grammar. The occasional mistake is understandable. We all make mistakes. But repetitive mistakes are just annoying. But maybe that's just me... I dunno. :srsly: Does it bother any one else? :drat:

Yes, a million times yes. How you communicate is a direct sign of how you treat other people.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Proper grammar is just a good habit to get into. I once pointed out a recurring mistake to someone and they retorted, "This isn't English class." Hate to break it to you, but once you graduate you still need to be able to communicate efficiently. It's going to help you down the road with job interviews, and it's gonna be pretty embarrassing when down the road you try to help your kid with their homework and mess up. It's part of being a member of society.

Yep, I'm the same way as these two lovers here. :P

Good grammar is something you'll need all your life anywhere you go, any time you have to write anything at all. If you can't use it, then you're probably going to be passed up and ignored because someone else can probably use proper grammar. It's not that hard, just think about it.

I'm glad everyone agrees with me. :) Another pet peeve of mine about the topic of grammar is when people spell it grammer. Like.. Are you kidding me? :/

I had an English teacher once that spelled it grammer... She was writing on a kid's (not mine) research paper and was correcting his spelling. She wrote at the top "work on spelling and grammer". As soon as the class (and school) found out, she was the center of every joke for a long time and still is really.
