What did you guys think of this trilogy? I thought it was an amazing thorough dive into the working of the human mind, and also the world around us which manipulates that very mind. Holding it back from its greater power.

Thoughts?

Hmm... I like Matrix and Reloaded, but I'm afraid the third one didn't even really leave a lasting impression on me. What was it called again? Animatrix or something right?
Sorry, I don't mean to sound ignorant or prejudiced about trilogies. I actually liked the first of the Star Wars trilogy to come out. My mom bought it for my brother when it came out on VHS, and I ended up watching it more than he did. ^.^
But getting back on topic, I did like the concept of The Matrix. Sometimes I really think that what I'm living in right now isn't reality, that when I wake up one day, I'll be in a totally different place. A dark, twisted, dangerous place. Like all of this is just a programmed world.

Kat, the Matrix is real. They were trying to warn you, sadly, most people will ignore what they say and still see the movie as "entertainment" and live obliviously. I don't believe the movie's story line is exactly how things truly are but I can rest assured that the majority of it all is a sad truth. The third movie was called Matrix Revelations. Just watched all 3 the other night to get a thorough look at everything, great trilogy.

I always find myself questioning that from time to time, if someone ever found out that the Matrix is a true thing, I would totally be on board in being a part of it.

@topic

I loved the Trilogy, I have watched them multiple times and still intrigues me just as much as the first time if not more each time I watch them :)

It really is an intriguing movie and it gets the wheel turning in your mind as you watch. I enjoy these type of movies.
