A sign hangs in front a blindingly white storefront, its decor just as minimalist as its logo is. Most of the room is either white or a shining chrome, which leaves the various data syringes locked behind glass cases all the more visible. They glow gently in pulses of red, blue, and green, seemingly the only things for sale inside of the store. A strange machine tromps down the aisles, a Digitamamon inside of its passenger seat gazing at case upon case of merchandise. Content that everything is in order he turns, finally noticing the customer that had just approached.

"Oh! Didn't see you there. This Evogene, the next evolution in Digivolution. We're a rather new business, but we've got a lot of wares a tamer such as yourself would greatly appreciate. Please, have a look around."

Evogéne Wares

  • Extra Moves - 1000 bits

"Did you know that Digimon only use half of their potential data at one time? Fascinating information, really. We've tapped into some of this unused data, allowing your Digimon to use extra fighting techniques! The procedure only works twice on the same Digimon, though, so only two extra moves per form can be learned."

  • Extra Digivolutions - 1500 bits

"Ah yes, Digivolution. Data mutates in a nearly infinite amount of ways as we grow bigger and stronger. For a price we can wrangle up some of these many possibilities, giving your Digimon up to two extra Digivolution lines. Any attempts at enabling more ended in . . . well . . . lets just say a trip to Primary Village was needed."

  • Permanent Champion - 2500 bits

"Digimon data stabilizes as it ages, which is why older Digimon seem to stay in more advanced forms. Advances in gene therapy, however, have let us stabilize even a young Digimon like yours!"

  • Permanent Ultimate - 5000 bits + Permanent Champion

"You may be wondering why we can't stabilize a Mega. You can thank their legendarily unstable data for that one: permanent Megas often go berserk and power-mad. Too risky, not worth the hassle."

  • DNA Core - 1500 bits

"Ah, the DNA core! Such a curious item! It reacts to bonds between Digimon and harvests their energy, using it to fuel a special fusion. This energy is very unstable, though: a Digimon with more than two DNA cores often fries its own brain. Such a tragedy . . . "

  • Viral Gene - 1000 bits

"Ah . . . TECHNICALLY I wasn't supposed to refine this. But progress demands sacrifice, as I always like to say. This isolated virus corrupts a Digimon's data, darkening its coloration and increasing its combat potential. However, the gene also increases aggression and decreases obedience dramatically. Handle with extreme caution."

  • X-Antibody - 1000 bits

"This vaccine is an anomaly that even constant testing hasn't revealed the true nature of. This foreign piece of data seems to refine a Digimon's natural code, making it faster, stronger, and hardier. Is this artificial tampering, or the next step of Digivolution? Nobody knows.

Do note, however, that this reacts very poorly with the Viral Gene. Our attempts to put both inside of a Digimon caused its code to explode and scatter along the four winds. You can only choose one."

  • Armor Quest - 500 bits

"You know, it seems every day people ask me where to buy Digi Eggs. Why? Is it because I'm an egg? I swear to the Sovereigns, it gets so tiring.

However, I do know an archaeologist! For a work-week's worth of bits I can tell him your problem and see what he can help you wrangle up. You can only buy two trips with him, so try to make them count."

  • The Goggles - 1000 bits

". . . Huh. How did these get here? I have no use for them, but if you really want them I could pawn them off to you. Apparently they represent leadership or something like that, so why don't you just go run off and start a little club with your friends?"
