Have you ever heard the name vampire? I would bet my blood you have. Here is the classic description. They supposedly cannot be touched by sunlight, look at crucifixes, or enter holly places. They suck the blood of unsuspecting victims everyone knows that. That’s one kind, now here’s the other, the hybrids, the strongest of the strong, the bravest of the brave, the most invisible, and most lethal. We are different. We are strong from the day we are borne to darkness. We can stand in the sun and not feel anything but its warmth. We can do almost everything that a normal vampire cannot. And this is the story of how I became one….. Before I can tell you my story, I have to describe how we are made and exactly what we are. We are a government experiment gone FATALY wrong. They captured a fledgling vampire and too dam near all of his blood and infused it with substances that humans should not be able to control, these included pure magic (a very dangerous toy), the substance of darkness (even more dangerous), and the soul of a man who has murdered 6 other men. This they inject into the body of the host, me, who then undergoes a change which takes months to the onlooker but seems like eternity to the host. In the process of death rebirth and reformation the host is in constant agony the likes of which no mortal can comprehend. Our fangs are about 1 ½ to 2 inches long and sharp enough to penetrate skin with barely any effort. We are at the day we are fully changed about 26 times stronger than the strongest of mortals, yet we become very thin and wiry and unspeakably beautiful. We also have other powers. We can manipulate and sense the minds of average mortal, completely control the week, and influence the strong. We can walk without and make so close to no sound that no mortal can hear us and we may become nearly invisible. |

Chapter 2 Now that you know what I can do more or less it is time to get started. I was released from the chamber in which I had been kept for the duration of the changes and greeted by three men in body armor holding hi tech machine guns. Looking at them I was suddenly furious at them for leaving me in a room no more than 10 by 10 meters wide to die and be reborn without knowing what was happening top me. It turns they didn’t know either or they would never have made me. I walked up to the man closest to me and with no knowledge of my power I pushed him. It seemed like a playful poke to me but sent the burly man sprawling across the room to crumple unconscious on the floor. His two companions immediately fired there guns, I was surprised to see that there rounds were completely useless against me I almost laughed then realized that though they couldn’t damage me their bullets still hurt me. In a rage I released all me strength on the bigger of the two with my new power this smashed his armor and splintered his ribs and spine. The second backed away completely terrified, and as I watched him I felt a longing for something as I had never felt before. I wanted his blood, so I took it. I gently lifted him off the floor and sank my vampire’s fangs into his neck. They ecstasy I felt then you can’t possibly imagine I drank every ounce of his blood and left his corpse dry and crumpled on the white rubber floor. I left that facility indestructible and powerful beyond all human limits. I was a vampire hybrid. I was indestructible, then I saw her…. |

part three She was a girl to my eyes, a vampire as I was too learn her face was blistered and scarred from the sun, and she was weakening. I obviously had to do something, she was the closest thing to my kin there was. I did something then that shaped my destiny and is still affecting it I took her hand and guided her away from the streets into the nearest safe place I knew. It happened to be an abandoned church crypt which ironically didn’t hurt either of us. She of course was terrified of entering a “wholly place” but I dragged her in. Had I not done this she would have been dead in an hour. There I sat until night came and the limp fledgling vampire in my arms stirred. Her wounds were gone without traces save one scar the shape of a crescent moon below her eye. She was now beautiful she had a very slightly Asian face with long almond eyes and a slight thin face which was near to perfectly symmetrical. She would have been beautiful to a mortal. To my vampire’s sight she was perfect that is where I was wrong. |

*thinks* hm. a twist... a twist... She should be related to somebody important that compromises everything she stands for and is. And it complicates relationships. Maybe a back story to explain how she became a vampire and why she was out in the sun? and names for both characters... |

If you do, make it as slow evolving as possible. It's torture for the audience if you milk it for all it's worth, but in the end it's more fulfilling. :P |

We spoke for half the night using our telepathic powers as well as words. This is what I learned; she was the daughter of a prestigious diplomat from America to China her name was Winter. She was a terrible person when she was mortal, her life was the most important thing to her and she would sacrifice anything and anyone for it. That was ten years ago. If she had kept living like that there is no knowing what she would have done. She would have kept this up till she was murdered by some man or another if she had not been made a vampire by a child of the centuries (a vampire who has lived for many centuries) who taught her how to live as the undead live and gave her something to live for. After she was made a vampire she did not return to her family for 7 years, and when she did she was welcomed until she told her story. They threw her out into the daylight were she surely would’ve died had I not saved her. She’d been wandering for over half the day crying her tears of blood before I found her. I had given her life. She was the one who gave me my first name; she named me Sanctus which is Latin for saint. I was her saint in a way; I was her saint but not her friend, not yet. Two nights later when I returned from my daytime wanderings I did not see her coffin nor did I see her. There was a faint smell of iron in the room which I found odd because iron burned the skin of a normal vampire almost as quickly as the suns rays. Something caught my eye and as I bent down to examine it I was sized from behind by three huge muscular men while a thin wiry woman pointed a very scary looking gun at me. I didn’t know if they could hurt me and didn’t intend to find out so I let them lead me away reasoning that these were probably the people who had taken Winter. |

Winter awoke in a dark room with no apparent way out there was no door and no windows, which was good because a window would let in the light of the sun when she was clamed by sleep in the morning. The room was grey rubber walls ceiling and floor ‘nicer décor she thought absently’. Upon surveying her surroundings she began to remember what had happened before she awoke here, there was another vampire who had saved her from the sun, what was his name? Sanctus? Yes that was it then she remembered awaking to find herself in a van, all iron of course which explained the burns on her body. She was awakened from her contemplation by the quite sound of a door opening. She wheeled around to see three men armed heavily one of them carrying a jug full of blood, how thoughtful. They deposited the jug by the door and left in a rush. She had missed her chance for action and another might not come soon, no helping it she need to drink and soon or she would grow week and might miss her next chance too. Upon tasting the cold blood she gagged, cold pigs blood…yummy…. Upon feeding on this sumptuous feast her thought’s cleared a little and she began to plan how to get out of this grey rubber palace. The next night the guards came as expected, she examined the mind of the food carrier the likely weakest and was rewarded with a schematic of the facility she was in. This is going better than expected. She saw that getting out would require some skill she would have to go through three airlock doors guarded by cameras and flame throwers, flame throwers? No matter. She could follow the guards unnoticed. And if she failed? Don’t think like that use your vampire powers to blend into the shadows. Right? Possible but she hadn’t been a vampire that long, and if she took too long she would be made into a cinder by the sun. She slipped out the door as quietly as possible, so far so good, the first door was easy enough slip into a clump of shadow. Second door however turned out to be occupied by two humans an unexpected problem. She couldn’t kill them and if they caught her sneaking by…..No don’t think like that, is there a way around none. Winter gathered all her skill, courage, and luck and made a running leap in the hopes of jumping over their line of sight unnoticed no luck there. The taller leapt with startling speed and caught her around the waist throwing her to the ground and placing his foot on her slender neck. She writhed in pain as the iron boot burned into her pale skin. It was unbearable pain. “Going somewhere?” crooned the one who had caught me “Think it would be that easy?” his boot digging deeper with every word “she coughed something that was supposed to be a plea to stop and only succeeded in spurting some blood. There was blood coming from the wound, if she did not do something she would be dead within a Minuit. In a last desperate effort she struck with all her force at her captor’s leg. It snapped like a twig and he sank to the floor coursing in several different languages the other tried to act but was brought down by a quick roundhouse kick to the Adams apple, he went limp and his crippled companion roared with anger. She quickly ran through the last door and began her search for the nearest safe place, not a mile north she found a forgotten crypt and quickly emptied a coffin and laid down to rest. |
