Don't you hate it when you read a sentence wrong?

anyway.

Why wouldn't you want them to be happy?

D:

It's Edward!

And Bella!

And Jasper!

And Alice!

And all the lovely Cullens and wolveseses!

I'd like for them to be happy. It would sorta make me lose faith in humanity if beloved book characters couldn't even be happy.

Random New Topic: I'm not sure I like Jacob imprinting. He's my favorite character, I think he got off too easy. :dead: I don't think he moved on far enough before he imprinted... I guess the self-discovery I wanted him to have, he didn't.

Also the fact that he imprinted on Nessie who's so perceptive at a young age, rendering her capable of possessive feelings, is sorta creepy. :ermm: I know I didn't get this vibe when Quil imprinted on Claire; I thought it was terrific, how he would always be there for her as she grew up - like a guardian angel, almost.

I think there at least should have been a battle. And jake (Before nessy came along) would have been better for bella imo. I don't mind them being happy...just seems too perfect

I hate the idea of Jacob and Bella together.

It's better with Nessie.

Jacob is my favorite character but I like the Bella x Edward 'ship better. I don't think Bella's good enough for him. :P Though I don't think Nessie's much better for him either.

Because he deserves more than what Bella could give him. As for Nessie, she just kinda creeps me out.

i liked the twilight series but it didn't match up to the host at all. the host was something totally different and i loved it. but about breaking dawn...... hmmmmm predictable, annoying, well written and too neat of an ending with too much talk with the voultri and not enough real suspense or action. at points it dragged and nessie just messed everything up. alice leaving?? psha..... what ever..... it was good but the host beats it hands down. besides, it is teenage fiction as some one said.... i guess my standards are higher.... *grumble grumble dumb standards not letting me enjoy the book.... grumble grumble*
and now there is going to be sequels to the host.... poo no thats going to make it over publicized and mess everything up.......... we'll see about that.

It was really interesting how completely different The Host was... It wasn't a "teenage" book though so she could just let loose.

I do hope she doesn't botch the sequel....

I wonder what it'll be about. I don't think It'd be about Wanda, her story is pretty much finished I think. Sunny would be the same way. The human child with Soul parents could be a possibility. I'd be interested in that.

ok, honestly, The Host annoyed the hell out of me. An entire book of Wanderer whining and groveling and being afrade of everything, everyone, and everything else gets to a point when it's too annoying. And seriously what was with the fan-fictionesque flashbacks, and her obsesion with "Jared" I meen SERIOUSLY get over it, he hates you with his guts woman! The plot I must admit was one of the better plots I have read, but that was rendered obsalete by the fact that that 3/4 page of the book were the same points and ideas repeded in different ways, transparently the same. And Wanderer's aversion to violence, even in self defence was ridiculus.....need I go on?

Okay, I feel the urge to defend one of my favorite stories. :P

I don't think it's too ridiculous. Ghandi practiced the same beliefs and his ideals liberated India from England, after all. While it's a frustrating battle, it's the higher road and it can work. And the story is a perfect example (if not ideal), Wanda was able to peacefully save her fellow Souls and win the love of enough people to keep her around. She even saved Kyle who eventually turned a new leaf and decided to accept Sunny.

There's a tolerance you have to have for Wanda. She's terribly frightened and given the circumstances [being a peace-loving creature; having to deal with vivid emotions for the first time in your life (or lives); questioning your beliefs; dealing with a brutal creature who mentally abuses you (which in my opinion is more worse than verbal or physical abuse); and how everybody wishes you dead] I think anybody would be. With that in mind, her actions are reasonable.

As for Wanda struggling with Jared, let me just say, that's easier said than done. Even in real life. The heart just can't be governed like that. That's unrequited love for ya. In Wanda's defense, she was working through it. It wasn't like she was stuck on him the entire novel, she did fall in love with Ian. Finally, it was all Melanie's fault anyway. :P
