Located between the Green Cove, Pale Sea, and the vast southern ocean; the Southern Steppe is a flat span of grass covered lands. A mix of arid winds and regular rain fall allows for much more growth than found in The Pale Sea. Low lying scrub high grass, and cactus grow here year round. This provides for limited grazing for both wild and domesticated life. The Southern Steppe is separated from the Pale Sea by a large river surrounded by high cliffs. There are crossing points but they are few and far between, often inaccessible during the somewhat wetter season of the year. These winding trail of water is fed by a large lake throughout the year. People do call this place home, though none are known to be a part of any formal kingdom. Their heritage seems to be a mix of many cultures, with none seeming more prominent than the others. Little is known of these people except by the Atigo who seem to be in no rush to share their knowledge for unknown reasons.
