I just watched three different movies at the cinema and came home with a KILLER headache. It hurts just thinking about it but it was worth it spending the day with my cousins.

Weren't you tired after that, I know I was. It was probably the sitting too close to the big screen that did me in, I could barely keep my eyes open during Holmes. Won't be doing that again for a while.

Watched 3 movies back to back to back last nite :)

The Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo

The Girl who Played w/ Fire

The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

A little over 7 hrs of movie watching
Are those the American made one's? I read the books this past summer and loved them! If you haven't read the series I highly recommend it.

Nope. Those were the Swedish versions w/ the English subtitles.

Saw David Fincher's US release of The Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo this past Monday afternoon & it was amazing.

The US one followed the book more than the Swedish release of the movie.

I'm planning on doing that trifecta soon, watch the sweddish version and then the US then read the books, only because reading takes up too much of my time.

Plus I'm not so prudish about books being translated to screen to care whether or not the screen version of a book is as great as the book.

I usually enjoy both but I have at times dispaired at some glaring differences between the two medias of the same title.

Thanks Dave! I want to see the U.S. release of the The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo so bad!

You will love the books. I had a hard time putting them down when I read them.

I usually like the books better than the movies anyway. The books are always better. I felt that way about "The Help" when I saw it. The movie was really good but I loved the book more.

David Fincher's Opening title sequence for The Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo. It's quite the thing to behold bc it's just WOW.

The song is a cover by Trent Reznor & Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs & it's Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song"

I am not sure if this should go here but saw that Chandler Massey is in a movie titled "16 Love". Here is a link to Youtube with Chandler and a sneak peak.
