Clip 1: EJoleney enjoy birthday time while Will smirks and happily thinks about what will happen when the trash arrives. EJ walks up on Abe switching questions, and Abe's facial expression may be the funniest thing I've ever seen on this show, besides Sami's Jiffy-Pop hair (can't take credit for that, someone else came up with it but it's perfect). Said Jiffy-Pop gets upset when she sees her husband and her sister dancing in the dimly-lit pub. |

Clip 2: Sydney, Nicole, Will, Theo, and Lexie all seem to be having a good time opening Syd's gifts while Jen pointlessly glowers and looks like a general all-around bitch. Nicole marvels at how EJ will love seeing Syd in her new pink dress then wonders, just where is Daddy? Daddy is talking to Abe's back, and wants to know if Abe is hiding something. Abe says you caught me red-handed and I thought I was going to get away with it--CLIFFHANGER! We cut to Rafe and Carrie swirling and twirling. Carrie falls and Rafe has to grab her thigh to catch her. Carrie wants to know if it's hot in here or WHAT and Rafe admits it's a bit warm. Peg Bundy meanwhile is standing there pursing her lips and shaking her head. Carrie turns to say something to Rafe and they're close and then Austin busts in to fold his arms disapprovingly. He don't like what he sees, ladies: |

Clip 3: In which Carrie and Rafe try to explain to their suspicious spouses they were just filling in but Austin, no dummy he suddenly, says fine, he understands the dance thing but what was that that just happened, i.e., the soapy gaze they interrupted. Cafe look confused. Back to DiMansion, where Nicole continues to cheerlead the gift opening and Jen frowns back and forth between the gifts and the foyer. Abe is claiming that he was looking for a pen to sign Syd's card before anyone noticed, because if there is anything that devastates a young child more than not having her birthday card signed by her aunt's husband it's . . . well, I can't think of anything worse. EJ hands Abe a pen which he says has always brought him good luck (? maybe it's the "romantic" pen Nicole gave him) and makes a crack about Abe needing the luck. Abe says he'll do fine on his own and EJ excuses himself to go make popcorn (not a typo). Abe puts the questions back and returns to the party. |

Clip 4: In which Cafe desperately try to explain why this dance made perfect sense. Austin suggests, pointedly, that perhaps it's time they take those ballroom lessons they talked about and Carrie weakly and stupidly says they're so busy. Austin says, . . . yeah, and it's really kind of poignant. Carrie begs Sami to put on the princess dress. Rafe asks Sami to be his pretty, pretty princess (GAG ME) and Sami says she's too busy, they already look great and asks Austin for help. Sami learns Sydney's with Will. Cut to DiMansion, where EJ wanders in with a giant bowl of popcorn. EJ suggests Will get Syd back before Sami freaks and Will wants to know what the rush is because she won't be back for a couple of hours. EJ asks if he's sure and Will says, would I lie to you? EJ points out that wouldn't be a good idea. Abe tells Jen EJ caught him but that he managed to stash the envelope. EJ goes to the side with Nicole, who is now sporting a bow on her dress, and asks about the debate questions. She assures him they're safe. Sydney shouts "Daddy" and runs over to him, he picks her up and EJ says it's turned into a wonderful day and kisses Nicole while the three of them stand there. |

Clip 5: In which EJoleney have a tea party on the sofa. In a bit of WTFery, Lexie asks Theo if he's excited about seeing his daddy on TV in a debate (oh, yes!!). Jennifer the librarian suggests Will might want to check his phone, as it's been vibrating for ten minutes. Will rolls his eyes as he sees who was calling. Will tells his trashy mother that they're almost done "here" and she demands to know where "here" is. He explains it's the DiMansion having a party with family and friends for Syd and that he's never seen her smile so big. Sami is, of course, pissed. |

Clip 6: In which Rafe is shocked to learn that Will and Syd are with EJ. Sami bitches about how that son of a bitch had the fucking nerve to throw his daughter a party even though she specifically forbade him and is further pissed that he used Will to do it. Sami says she's going to go get her daughter, Rafe says he's going to, she looks disgusted and ashamed and says, "like that?" (now you know how Rafe feels ALL THE TIME, bitch) and Rafe takes off the hat. He finds one of his balls and asks her snippily if she wants him to go home and change. She rolls her eyes and huffs and turns on her heel and they leave. Carrie points out that that will put a damper on Syd's day (so somebody's thinking of the kid). Austin mentions his day wasn't super once he caught his wife in the arms of his brother-in-law (are they really brothers-in-law? that doesn't sound right). Carrie says it's no big deal and Austin says, when somebody has to say that it means it is a big deal. |

Awww, EJole kiss with Syd...that's how it SHOULD BE! These scenes are so cute and Ari has chem with the little actress. She is so excited and gets the little girl excited too. |

I have to tell you guys....Jiffy-Pop Sami made it in this week's SOD...as BEST use of a hairband...YES....LMAO. They compare to pics and picked Jiffy as best?!? I'll post the pic later. |

Clip 7: In which Will tells Syd and Theo they should go look for chocolate cake in the kitchen. Ejole wonder where the kids are off to, then the doorbell rings and Typoon Skanki barges in demanding her daughter. EJ wants to know what she's doing there. The skank says she won't let him kidnap her again and EJ says please, he's throwing her a small birthday party. Nicole comes in and says what's the yelling, then sees Sami and says she gets it, then Nicole makes fun of Rafe's outfit though he does have a coat on. Sami says she wants her daughter. EJ tells her to calm down, it's a birthday party and they're all having a lovely time. Sami says that's funny, she's been searching for her daughter (when?) and she won't let her celebrate her birthday with two kidnappers. EJ says he's her father. Sami says EJ gave up custody and all rights, he doesn't even get visitation. She says she's been extremely generous letting EJ see her, and he says, "hardly." Screechi says from now on, he will only see Syd when she says it's okay and Syd runs in yelling, "stop." |
