I'm stunned and hurt. I grew up on Whitney Houston. My thoughts and prayers are with her daughter and family. |

I couldnt believe it when I was hearing XM in my car and they broke in to say that she died.....WOW. "One Moment in Time," was one of my 8th grade graduating songs. RIP Whitney |

When I first heard the news I was absolutely stunned I couldn't believe it. I guess I was one of the firsts because when I started calling my friends it was news to them and they were just as stunned we started talking about all our 80s Whitney memories and the bodyguard. We grew up listening to Whitney and we all wish she never met Bobbie Brown. I still can't believe she is gone. I had her first album and played it on a continuously loop followed by the bodyguard soundtrack. She sold 170 million copies and I was so proud to be apart of it. My thoughts are with her daughter and her mother. RIP Whitney Houston. Your voice was one of the greatest love of all. |

It's so sad. I heard when I was getting out of church & was stunned. She's gone too soon. She was a great talent and a beautiful lady.

Like one of my friends said she couldn't imagine how it must have been so hard for Whitney the last couple of years when her voice just wasn't at the same level as it was when she first sang I Wanna Dance With Somebody but there was all this pressure and expectation for her to be at that same level. My heart goes out to her daughter, her mother, and Clive Davis. I am in shock and I was only a person who grew up listening to Whitney so I can't imagine what they are feeling. It's just so sad. |

I was sad to here of her death. Her music was amazing and timeless. |
