Shaughnessy played the ISA agent from 1984 to 1992 on Days, reprising his role in 2002 and again in 2010 with multi-episode arcs. He's scheduled to first appear during the May 2 episode when he returns to Salem to investigate a case for the ISA. News of the actor's return to Days comes mere weeks before Lisa Rinna will reprise her role as Billie Reed on the NBC daytime staple. Rinna's return is scheduled for March 8. Shaughnessy's credits include The Nanny and its spinoff, Life With Fran, as well as a stint on AMC's Mad Men. He's repped by Stone Manners and Affirmative Entertainment. |

I'll take Shane love CS loved him on "The Nanny" but please PLEASE leave Patsy Pease off the show. I can't stand her in her current botoxed state! |

I love how they're going to say that Kim "allowed" Shane to return for this one mission. That's cute and sounds like a Kim thing. |

We go could there, mirage, and I know you don't mean any harm by it. You could say the same for a few actresses and actors that either had work done or have not aged so gracefully. Still, though I understand looks are a part of soaps, I would hope we would mainly judge them by their acting. In that department, I would love to see her back on the show to raise the acting levels. Just like our girl Ari does.
