My laptop has decided to be broken again. Trying to load any web pages results in a timeout "this web page is not available" page. My connection is fine because I can use my tablet fine. I'm stumped. Heeeeeeelp!

Your DNS entries could be out of whack for your network. I regularly get that when my DNS is messed up on a site that I know is up and running.

You can try flushing your dns and re registering things. If you give me an email address i'll send you a bat file that you can run as an administrator that will do this for you with no typing. I have to run it several times a day cause internal sites at work break *sighs*

If that doesn't work you can check your DNS settings.

Here is how you can check your DNS settings. http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/601/~/are-my-domain-name-service-%28dns%29-settings-correct%3F

However I don't know if that is the correct dns entries 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are google's DNS ips.

Aria's suggestions are good. If that doesn't work, get on chat on your tablet and I can help troubleshoot the issue.

Uhhhh...

"So?" said Loki impatiently. "This isn't the first time the world has come to an end, and it won't be the last either."

According the link my DNS setting are correct. I think it might have been a firewall issue (no idea why it decided to suddenly block the internet) but seems okay now. Thanks guys!
