The story of Aulus

In the recent past, a young peasant by the name of Aulus came upon the great city of Rome. There, although his stay was brief, he thrived. He was accepted into the service of a Senator by the name of Matt. He collected goods for the city. All was well.

One dark day, Aulus found that the city was abandoned, or had been moved by the gods. Devastated, he sulked, and underwent several weeks of near madness, all alone in the wilderness.

But today, my friends, is a brighter day. While wandering aimlessly, Aulus stumbled upon a town by the name of Alyon. It was the mighty domain of Swar, the high king. What a coincidence it was that King Swar had met with Aulus in Rome. Aulus had attempted to build a shop for the Noble king. He failed, but the two did become friends.

Thus, Aulus had found a new home. After a tour of the village, and a reuniting with the king, who now was unthinkably more powerful than Aulus, he was instated as High Scribe, a position which he showed he loved while in Rome.

This appears to be the beginning of a new chapter in the boy's life.
