My prediction, there will be 3 tracks of some guy playing with his guitar pickup with sounds of a cafe in the background. Then one badass track with some killer angular guitars and retarded good drumming. Then one track that would fit on some indie-pop album with either the girl from crambon singing, or maybe that other one. And then either the first or last track will be some ambient guitar stuff with no drums.

WAIT!! DID I JUST REVIEW THE EP WITHOUT EVEN HEARING IT??!?!?!?!
I love toe, but their new stuff just does not hit the spot.

already have it on pre-order, they are also re-releasing songs ideas we forgot with some bonus tracks and the book about my idle plot on a vague anxiety

man I can't tell if you really hated For Long Tomorrow or what. Ordinary Days was also pretty awesome. I'm sort of happy they aren't going along with the The Book About My Idol Plot style of play. I mean, that is easily their best work, but For Long Tomorrow and Ordinary Days were also killer tracks. I'm super excited.

And Clammbon rules

yeah, my favorite toe is all the early stuff. that ordinary days track was okay, but the "for long tomorrow" album didn't hold my interest, and the ep before that really let me down. These days, I'd rather listen to low-pass than toe.
And yes, clammbon does rule.

how did goodbye not grab you instantly?! the first thing I listened to by them was the New Sentimentality EP, so that might be way I'm so partial to that track, but still; Two Moons, esoteric, Say it Ain't So, Two Moons, many killer fucking tracks.

Not The Book About My Idol Plot good, but still a fantastic album.

I'm old school dawg, (not joking) I was into toe before they even released anything. Of course, I didn't know what they sounded like, but I bought their first ep right when it came out. So, that's kind of my standard. They've changed and I guess you could say their sound is less aggressive. Either way, they're not bad, I just like to fuck with bands that normally have a predictable format to their releases (like killie).

killie isn't predictable grumblegrumble. they just end up releasing the same song on like every release

dude, killie is totally predictable. case in point, find a release that does NOT have the below:
silence
some guy talking
a really long riff
dynamic blasts
a dude screaming
some awesome shit

that is every killie release ever. They released a one-song CD. It had all the above stuff!!!

i like how every killie release has 'some awesome shit' because they totally do. i haven't talked to Yoshi in a while, but they should be in the middle of recording their first full length right now. Hopefully it includes 'some awesome shit'

you could make the same case for toe's earlier stuff as well. two guitar players play the most beautiful harmonies and melodies, the drummer does something ridiculously fucking awesome, but in a way that you know its good, but just aren't aware how fucking good until you watch him live. oh, and there is a bass player but you can't hear him
