Welcome To
The Second Annual

Grammar Wars

Welcome Welcome! Are you ready for the excitement of your life's. The thrill on our very own forums, The Atlanta Clock.
Well, if you are reading this topic, then you certainly are!
In the excitement of your very own life, you are all invited to put in a ticket to enter yourselves in the second grammar wars!
Just enter your ticket into the ballot and you will have a chance of getting in this amazing event. But! Watch out, only 100 people can join this competition so put in your tickets fast or else it might be to late!
Have fun, follow rules, and make sure that you don't lose

Rules
1) You cannot edit your posts. If so, you will be Disqualified
2) Any grammatical errors of any kind will knock you out of the competition
3) The judges are the participates themselves. But you are not out by just one person telling you that you are wrong unless two or more say so
4) You cannot use simple sentences over and over again. You will be given one verbal warning and if not followed, then you are out
5) Only active participants will be able to participate
6) You can only participate if you put in a ballot (for example: *put in ballot*)
7) The first post you do must involve putting your ballet in
8) Once you put your ballot in the game has started for you and the rules will be put into effect
9) You have 24 hours to join after the first post is made until you are not allowed to put in your ballot
10 Emoticons and Nicknames are still grammatically correct
11) When you vote someone out you use "Vote-<Insert Username> because of <insert reason>"
12) Any grammatical errors while your voting for someone do not count

Strategy Tips
  • Try to not use grammatical situations that you are unsure or inexperienced with as you have a higher chance of getting out

  • Try to refrain from using slang terms or terms that are not used in the dictionary because if anyone calls you on it, then you are out

  • Don't make fun of people when they get out or else certain consequences will happen

Happy Grammar Wars

*Puts in ballot*

Yes, you can talk about whatever you want as long as it includes good grammar.

That's awesome!

Also, do I win anything for being the victor of the last grammar wars?

Once I learn how to give out money people will win things but in the present it is merely the thought of winning that counts. :P
