My favorite female filmmaker by a mile. Only managed four features (five if one counts the TV movie), all of them exceptional, before dying in an auto wreck while making her fifth, which was completed by husband Elim Klimov. And is also very much worth seeing. Here is his tribute to her: Itself a beautiful film. Edited by Karl, Jul 28 2014, 12:29 PM.
