HOW HARRY BECAME A TREE isn't very good (though the set-up is amusingly bizarre: Irish rural family battle from a Chinese story, directed by a Serb). Lars Von Trier stole his lighting-on-fingertips bit from MELANCHOLIA from it.

Surprised to see all the low ratings. I haven't seen nearly as many of them as you have, and it's been awhile since I've seen it, but I remember rather liking THE OPTIMISTS.

Generally I give 10/10 only to 5 films maximum (Apocalypse Now, When the Tenth Month Comes, etc) so these ratings are not low at all. However I still regard him as one of the Top 5 Serbian directors even though he blew it more than once.
My favourite films are his first two, and of course the most popular film "The Elusive Summer of 68" which is sort of Black Peter but with more temper, more humour and less tedious pace, which makes his film even better than Forman's by my standards.
