Calling it now. Group D is the group of death.

It's like having Brazil, Argentina, Denmark, and Saudi Arabia in the same group.
Yeah, seems like the toughest group (and I'm glad I'm not in it) but I wonder who will actually be Saudi Arabia - cause I have brando progressing to the next round.

To please the majority is the requirement of the Planet Cinema. As far as I'm concerned, I don't make a concession to viewers, these victims of life, who think that a film is made only for their enjoyment, and who know nothing about their own existence.

I realize personal accountability has become passe, but I want to remind all managers that you have a moral responsibility to present films that don't suck.
Everyone pick canon films just to be safe. 10,000 IMDb votes at the very least.

Oh, I guarantee my films don't suck, so if someone thinks they do then it's their own failing. I'd suggest voting for all my choices even if you don't like them so as not to make your poor taste in films obvious to all.

Heh, well all I can say for myself is whether or not one thinks my film choices or their respective threads suck I can almost guarantee they'll at least be provocative, ambitious and most probably divisive. I'm taking a highly experimental approach to say the least. Fuck it mang, roll with it the only way you know how!

Yes, Budd. It's recommendable to open a thread with an introduction to your film, images, links to resources, etc, in order to engage other participants and even help them to appreciate more the work you have chosen.
All texts, short or long are totally welcome :toast:

Is it also ok, if one simply wants the participants to experience the films with a fresh mind, without any ideas about the movies interefering with their first encounter of said films? Cause that's the road I would like to choose.

I might open threads for people to post their ideas about the films though, and discuss them, if they choose to do so. :P

Yes, Rokasa, hopefully we'll have the full schedule tomorrow for first round in Group Stage (The other two rounds will be gradually revealed to add more suspense to the competition and to give us enough time to upload films).
However there are still some managers that must send their 3 submissions.

Remember: Deadline is today at 9:00 pm (GMT -5, Bogotá, Lima, New York)

Do we have to submit our order already (which movie for which match)?
