Maybe I should rename my genre: I Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Are Me And We Am I And I Are All Our Together. <heart>

To please the majority is the requirement of the Planet Cinema. As far as I'm concerned, I don't make a concession to viewers, these victims of life, who think that a film is made only for their enjoyment, and who know nothing about their own existence.

Jeez, no one told me we'd need a theme song, but if I gotta have one, then turning to the good Reverend Al Green for a song that straddles the line between sacred and profane is obviously the way to go here.

Dammit, I submitted my films last night but I only just thought to check if they had been run in previous cups and two of them have been. One of them had very little participation though and I'm not sure how many of those people are still around plus I've already written a fair bit on it so I might run with it anyway but the other I'll probably have to replace, I think I have about three hours...

Gotta think of a theme song too I suppose...

Alright I'm ready to roll.

I don't have a theme song yet but this may be relevant to the comp in general:

^Used to be the rules, yeah.

But since we're kinda starting this a bit anew here, maybe Javier won't be as strict?

Probably, but check the match itself (just Google it) to see who voted and if they're still here. If there are too many of them still hanging around, you might want to change (though that's unlikely).

Just going through all the previous cup films to check, and damn what beauties!
Story of a Three-Day Pass! :bounce: Michael the Brave! :bounce: Deserter! :bounce: Through and Through! :bounce: Landscape with a Woman! :bounce: Goodbye Pork Pie! :bounce:

Fortunately none of the final 12 on my shortlist of candidates for my chosen genre have been used before (though some films appeared on my earlier shortlists of around 50 possible titles for slightly different genre ideas).

Well, for the sake of discovery, if any of you realize that you are using films from previous cups, and decide to change your submission(s), please do it asap (send me a pm tomorrow Saturday), with your new choice.

If you still want to keep films that have already been seen in cups, have in mind that they need to be explored or introduced in very different and fresh ways to get the attention of those who already voted for or against them once
