Not gonna contribute, cause as you said somewhere else, aren't there enough rich Welles fans on the planet to do this? Archives? Anything?

I think it's probably simply a marketing ploy to get out the word about it and at the same time find out how big an interest in the film among a 'younger' crowd might exist.
Totally fine by me, but I'm not gonna spend my hard-earned money on that. ^_^

To please the majority is the requirement of the Planet Cinema. As far as I'm concerned, I don't make a concession to viewers, these victims of life, who think that a film is made only for their enjoyment, and who know nothing about their own existence.

i will support this film by seeing it in theatres if/when it comes out

i sure as fuck won't pay $75 for that abomination of a garment. not sure i'd accept $75 to wear it
