Bekir...![]() ...is in love with Ugur... ![]() ...who loves Zagor... ![]() ...who loves to commit crimes. ![]() What would have happened to Romeo and Juliet if they could not speak like Shakespeare? Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better. More to come.... Edited by M Penalosa, Jun 4 2015, 01:52 PM.

What SCFZ's elite are saying about Kader and The Zeki: hardcore romeo or deranged stalker? i must admit, the headlong rush toward mutually assured self-destruction was exhilarating - rischka Händler der vier Jahreszeiten transposed to 21st century malaise; amour fou is the religion, but existential drift is the raison d'être. That first scene in the cabaret bar/nightclub/whorehouse is such an ecstatic, indescribable intermingling of style and emotion, totally unforgettable. -James I'm facing The Zeki in the Cup? Fuck this. I quit. -Eliecer Gaspar |

Those comments are the sauce (rischka and James)! Can't wait to see Kader again - Woo! This'll only be the second time I've voted in this Cup. The first (and only) time was way back, for the Remorques vs R. de l'Estrapade stage of the competition. Is it ok to come in and out of the Cup like that, voting in some rounds but not in others? No. Definitely not. |

To please the majority is the requirement of the Planet Cinema. As far as I'm concerned, I don't make a concession to viewers, these victims of life, who think that a film is made only for their enjoyment, and who know nothing about their own existence. letterboxd * tumblr * website | |

oh, uh, a-ha ha ha… er, on a "cold light of day" tip, I'm not sure how apt my invocation of the Fassbinder will seem to anyone besides me. but I stand behind my 10/10 rating and the rest of what I say.this is a good reminder that I need to resume my trek through the Zeki filmography so I can be caught up before his new film comes out.

It conjures willy-nilly

A controlled exposé of emotional obsessions and their debilitating world of bad choices: where immaturity, violence, mental illness, personal fear, crime, babies, repression, and prison condemn those angels we had hoped to hear singing our own brand of Hallelujah to instead dig their own shallow graves and kneel down. I could have used even more co-degradation and the ardent bonds it creates between mutual sufferers, but after an initial spat of confusion, Kedar coalesced nicely into an intelligent look at the often dire results of tempestuous desire thwarted, and just how well some of us deal with No. |

Any easy place to watch more Zeki, especially the companion piece to Kader?
