Can't help but feel a little sad ... It's been such a happy day.

I don't think I need to say too much about One Way Passage. A dying woman and a soon to be dead man fall in love crossing the Pacific.

Of course, the film hinges entirely on the chemistry between the 2 main players, and the pairing couldn't be better. You're watching the clock run down which makes the electricity and the drama, the warmth and the wit even more powerful.

And maybe it has something to say about common experiences. Two people hiding the same secret from one another. Is this not something that could be leveled at us all? Maybe.

And what can you say about the ending? The best.

Terminally ill heroine falls in love (at first sight on the pencil-thin moustache) with John Waters impostor who makes her falselly believe she can spend her last days as a Dreamlander, or the filthiest person alive on deck (by not following the four commandments: “No more parties! No more cigarettes! No more dancing! And no more cocktails!”).
