anyone seen PEACE?

i rewatched it, first time since i saw it in theatres. soda's camera is just so... so compassionate, so understanding. every sequence is filled to the brim with pathos and this bittersweet, almost overwhelming love for life and unspoken fear of death. this movie makes me so sad that i was born and, like the flaming lips say, that everyone i know, someday, will die. but it makes me so happy i have this brief life where i get to watch movies like this and then go pet a cat

didn't like it
i shoulda picked ep 5 ("models") of season 2 of new girl as my movie club choice

i liked peace tho. realized i didn't comment about it before. too much homework. for me, soda's pic wasn't meant to
be some epic wiseman-esque documentation of a particular milieu. the (english) title says it all: peace. if peace here
means quiet, tranquility, and serenity, then that's just what i got. i suppose 'slight' can be used to describe the film,
but i didn't necessarily find that to be a negative. a longer running time probs woulda been a killer, but as it stands
its little haiku nature makes for a nice light verse of a film

will watch ss5+ and comment belatedly accordingly

It conjures willy-nilly

Nope, couldn't give it a positive assessment except for its well-meaning sentiment. An ambition-challenged bust for me.
