So,I wanted to make an OU team so that i wouldn't have to rely on Monotypes completely.Umm...Here it is. I'm Thorny (Ferrothorn) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 184 HP / 104 Atk / 108 Def / 112 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) -Stealth Rock -Spikes -Gyro Ball -Power Whip Well,Ferrothorn is a common OU lead and i decided to try it out. It's very useful in setting up hazards and dishing out powerful damage due to it's STAB Gyro ball.I run it with 0 Speed IVs and a - speed nature so that Gyro ball can do some more damage. Solar Flare (Volcarona) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Flame Body EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 36 SDef / 216 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Quiver Dance - Fiery Dance - Bug Buzz - Morning Sun Volcarona's a great sweeper. It's also one of my favorite bug-type pokemon. It's the standard set,but with morning sun so it could recover some HP lost either by taking hits or hazards. Dr.Eggwoman (Chansey) (F) @ Eviolite Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Softboiled - Aromatherapy - Toxic - Seismic Toss Chansey. It's a great eviolite carrier and definitely stalls well.Nothing more to say. Mr.Krabs (Scizor) (M) @ Metal Coat Trait: Technician EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Def / 16 SDef / 176 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Bullet Punch - Bug Bite - Roost Scizor, scizor, scizor. Can't forget the scizor.I decided that I wanted to get a bit creative with the evs and item. It was originally a test, but it worked so well that i had to keep it.Metal coat+STAB+Technician Bullet Punch can get pulled off before it even sets up a Swords Dance.Roost is to recover if the opponent overpredicts and uses protect or something...Uh,anyway,moving along... Screw D'nite (Salamence) (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Moxie EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Fire Fang - Crunch D-nites?Really?I'm getting sick of those things,so I decided to run a Scarfed Moxiemence. It works wonders. Dragon claw is for good STAB damage,Fire fang works like a D-nite's Fire punch,Crunch is a filler, and Earthquake does some nice damage. Batman (Gliscor) (M) @ Toxic Orb Trait: Poison Heal EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Substitute - Swords Dance - Earthquake - Facade The ultimate troll.I was trying for another Skarmbliss technique, with Gliscor and Chansey. It works really nicely. It also dishes out nice physical damage.Notice that theres no defense EVs.Know why?It has enough natural defense. Importable: Spoiler: click to toggle Well, that's it.I hope you enjoy the team. Please say if anything could be helped or added or stuff. |

You probably want Fire Blast over Fire Fang on Salamence, just so you can hit Skarmory and opposing Gliscor if you really need to. Plus, fire fang isn't all that powerful. On chansey, I prefer t-wave, because it's mostly for switching in to special attackers right? You get to cripple the pokemon that switches in for it. Remember, nobody (smart) is going to sit in with chansey and have it be toxic'd out.

Ok,so I'll fix Salamence. And,also,The toxic is so that the opposing pokemon dies sooner in the battle, rather than be crippled.I like the residual damage toxic does when the enemy is left with their last pokemon, thats slowly dying. |
