I think that must be the episode where Oscar muttered the words "Calgary Stampede" referring to the rodeo in my home town. I nearly DIED. I believe it was the first and last time I ever heard the word 'Calgary' uttered on American TV - and by my favorite American man. The things that thrilled my heart at 15...

I thought of you when I heard that :) I assume the video of the parade were not in Calgary? It's supposed to be in that little town where he was riding next.

The Olympics must have drawn a lot of attention to the city for a time anyway. My son loves 'Cool Runnings' which I'm guessing was actually filmed on location.(?) We also used to watch 'Due South' which I remember had a whole episode about the Calagary Stampede Parade. It seems a beautiful city.

Hmm... can't tell you that. The last time I saw that episode was probably when it aired.

Calgary has some beautiful qualities - we have two of the biggest urban parks in North America, a lovely river, and we're very close to the Rockies, which can be seen in the distance on nice days. The architecture though - YECH. There's a Western minset about constant renewal that means we have pulled down most of our interesting old buildings. Makes me mad as a wet hen.

Now, have you ever HAD a hen to know how mad it is when it's wet? ne432

Still, I'd take the abundance of natural beauty even if the architecture is somewhat lacking. We have a beautiful library that's a real gem they want to rip down because it's not big enough. Does Calgary have any Historical Preservation Societies trying to save the older buildings? We have some, but not enough.

I like too "Black Magic" when Jaime and Oscar have a dinner together after the mission is over when they have a toast with red wine until the family of villains came to interrupt them, do you notice Oscar's face at the end, he is too fun !

Elise :)

Yes, Oscar's expression is funny at the end and I love his smile just moments before that part too. Why did those awful Carstairs have to show up!!

Hey guys! I just saw the "On the run" episode and I gotta say everytime I see Oscar and Jamie together in each episode I wonder why they never implied there was something going on. Well I guess they never intended to do it but in this particular episode I must say all my doubts were cleared It seems to me that Jamie feels more than comfortable when she is with Oscar (Richard Anderson) I mean someone must have noticed that on Lindsay when they were shooting this scenes don't you think? It makes wonder also if there was something going on outside the camera??????

I think Richard and Lindsay are good friends in life but nothing more.

Elise :)

Oh, I don't really think they were anything more - I mean she was married twice after that, and Richard was single. I just think they have a good chemistry.
