True. I mean, I wouldn't be shocked to find out something went on between the two of them. Richard DID seem quite keen on Oscar being in love with Jaime :)

They certainly became very good friends and enjoyed working together. That much is clear.

As I'm sure you all know, Dolenz on the OBW board is a continuity freak. He pointed out that Steve's birthday is in 1942, and that if Jaime is 3 or 4 years younger than him, that would put her the year of her birth at 1945 or 46, making her three or four years older than Lindsay. If that's the case, and Oscar was born in 1930 (if we go by Iron Ships) that means he is a mere fifteen or sixteen years older than Jaime - NOT (by any reasonable measurement) old enough to be her father! Heh Heh!

Absolutely! Some of the most memorable and fascinating romantic stories have had the man older than the woman. Two that come to mind -- Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara were 15 years apart and Jane Eyre and Rochester had an 18 year age difference.

I just don't see Jaime with young men her age - they are way too immature for her. Just LOOK at them together - they are PERFECT! And what smiles they have :)

They do look great in that photo or any other time. They both glow with such warmth when they are together. :)

I want to point out that the opening theme for the The Bionic Woman lists Jaime's age. Season 1 the age was listed as 26, season 2 age 27 and season 3 age 28. They used Lindsay's age. She was 26 when the show premiered in January of 1976 and she was 28 when the show went off in May of 1978. It just goes to show that the writers for both shows lacked continuity.

Oh, the whole continuity things is just annoying. Not that is is a timeframe issue, but how many past jobs did Oscar hold? His whole career path just doesn't make sense.

Well in real life Richard was born in 1926 and Lindsay in 1949. So going by that, the age difference is 23 years and that certainly makes him old enough to be her father.
