I know when I go to Los Angeles in March, I'm going to hit up this one collector's store I used to go into when I lived there, and see what kind of photos the guy might have. He usually has some great photos...sometimes even better ones if you ask for the "slides". :)

I trust you will share if you turn up something fabulous...? bjd

sure will....I might even call out there next week...it's payday on Friday after all!

Don't you wish you could just CALL Richard? It would make life SOOO much easier :)

oh yeah...for sure easier. I'm gonna have to scope out the Polo Lounge more closely. Been there many times, but never paid attention!

Just think - Richard may have been just around the corner, eating alone one of those times! HYSEE

Good luck if you go! Wouldn't that be something - to walk in and see him there? Would you go up to him if you saw him?

If he were with a bunch of people, probably not out of privacy and all. But, if he was there alone....heck ya! Offer to buy a drink...:)

When I lived there....I saw quite of few people, so kind of got use to it. The first time I saw a celeb...I was all...WOW...you know...but after awhile, I was like...oh cool..that was...so and so. But, Richard is a person who is on my "must meet" list. Very few actors have touched me with their gift of entertainment, or even inspired me to reach for my goals in life. Bionic Woman being one, as Jamie was a school teacher on the show...that put something in my life to look at...and I teach school today. (Helps with some good teachers too), but that show help a great deal.

OH...and OJFan...your comment about "calling Richard"...it would be so much easier..and I'm sure I could get the phone number if I really searched for it. I've found a few other celebs. phone numbers before. Not really that hard if you know where to look. :)

Actually I was just in LA, but I didn't see Richard - instead I saw the guy who played SAM SLOAN (John Reilly)!! He seemed to be having lunch with family. And he looked a lot older than I expected him to - that's what the passage of 32 years will do, I guess!

wow...that is great! I didn't see anyone last time I was in LA....but then again, I wasn't really looking either. I miss LA...wish I could move back there.

I used to go to LA all the time, as my Dad worked there. Then after college, I moved there for a year because of a job. Now, I travel back to LA every year to visit friends. I'm trying to get a job out there now, but haven't had any luck. One day.

My husband keeps saying he's going to LA for a business trip and will take me with him, but it still hasn't worked out. I'd have all day to sightsee while he's working. He he he. Somehow I don't think waiting for Richard to show up at the Polo lounge is on the top of his list :)

I WAS lucky enough to see him driving his Bentley last time I was out there and then at a car show on Rodeo drive. Still, the Polo lounge would be so much nicer.

how amazing is that. did you do the celeb. tour of homes? I love the old hollywood section, basically where some of the "older" stars lived...like Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford, Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino. Its nice to be able to see some of those homes while driving by, unlike some of the newer areas, where the homes are ten mile form the road!

Oh, it's beautiful in the old section. We did drive around. When I saw Richard it was only about a quarter mile from his house. I couldn't BELIEVE it. I saw the Bentley coming and thought there was no WAY it could be him. I was totally shocked :)

Lucky you....I can't wait for Spring Break....CA trip...yeah!

I mailed a letter yesterday to Richard. Maybe he'll reply. I enclosed a stamped envelope....if he does....awesome for me...but if not, I'll understand.

So you are going during break? Good luck to you! I hope you see Richard. If you enclosed a SASE I bet he responds to you! I sent him a card too, but didn't enclose an envelope so I doubt I hear from him.

I will for sure to post something if I do get something in the mail....you might even hear me scream outside really loud, as I will be one happy camper!

I'll be in L.A. for a week....might even do some job hunting while I am out there. I miss it....and I have friends that live there too.
