You know, I think I may be losing it, because I find it sexy when he shifts position on the couch after he first sits down. I am losing it, aren't I???

I think we all (okay, only Oscar/Jaime fans) lose it during that episode. No, you aren't the only one. The whole scene is just filled with sexual tension if you ask me. Obviously he is no longer able to suppress his feelings. I thought he did a great job there - you can just feel how bad he feels having to tell Jaime about the NSB, and about having to let her go, and how he finally admits to her (and himself) that he loves her... He has really sexy hands too -and really BIG....

I think we have a right to lose it! We waited for years for a scene like that. You want to get everything out of it that you can.

Not to be a party pooper ("every party needs a pooper..."), but did anyone stop to notice she's wearing a wedding ring? What's up with that ?! Couldn't she at least take it off while they were filming?

I think it's interesting that both of them are kind of fishing to define their relationship in light of her resignation... no longer boss/employee, the normal thing would be to never see each other again...hence Oscar's 'just stop(ping) by to say hello" and Jaime asking if he "took outpatients" (which I like to think is her coy way of saying "I can't bear to not have you in my life"...)

She is wearing a ring but it doesn't appear to be a wedding ring. When she's hugging him you can see it's silver with a reddish stone.

I agree! They definitely seem to be doing that.

Good point Neesiepie... they both obviously WANT to continue the relationship... Don't we all kind of fish around to see what the other person is feeling... Maybe if either of them took a leap of faith and put their feelings out there, the outcome might have been different (and left Chris out in the cold).

Very true! It's the fear of rejection so we test the other person's feelings to gage the reaction.

Yes, Chris should have been 'left out in the cold'! His last appearance should have been when she left him at the cabin.

Well, except that they did do the "I love you" thing, and stupid Jaime still picked Chris!

Someday I'll do a rewrite subbing Oscar for Chris throughout the whole ep...

Not that I really disliked Chris as a character, I just disliked him with Jaime. I liked Oscarfans version where she started to go back to Chris, and then realized he wasn't who she REALLY loved, and she went to Oscar... c8654 c8654

I agree, that fear of rejection, of exposing your feelings to someone who doesn't return them, probably kept Oscar from telling Jaime he loved her until the very end...How nice would it have been if he had done that the day onthe tennis court... We could have had three very different seasons....

Just look at the way she kisses him then, you'd think he would have enough confidence to at least give it a shot...

In the "If Looks Could Kill" department, I think Oscar would gladly have that poor guy Jed from "Deadly Music" lying dead on the ground...

I watched that episode just recently and I loved that scene. Oscar's reaction is great. You're right, 'if looks could kill!' I like how Jaime after greeting Jed goes back to stand next to Oscar and they then say everything together.
