For me, I am more likely to keep reading the romance stories - especially the Oscar and Jamie story lines :) . I agree with an earlier comment as well - I like tastefully romantic ones - and I have only seen that type so far.

The length of the story doesn't matter to me - I have liked some very short ones (Man Alone) and some longer ones (I can't remember all of the names - there are so many). I guess I am more likely to keep reading if they are descriptive and flow well.

I have probably read 50 stories on the fanfiction website, but have only submitted reviews on 10 or so. I guess I thought the author wouldn't want to hear from me on each of the stories. I'm not much of a writer, so I usually only say that I like it -and maybe a short reason why - usually the same thing (not too original I guess :)

I LOVE hearing from readers! I love the feedback!

It keeps me motivated to write, because otherwise I feel like nobody likes it or cares.

Do you feel that way B4E, or am I just an attention seeker?

Oh, I definitely agree. When no one reviews, I see all the hits and think Wow - they all must've hated it.

Oh, I would definitely keep writing, either way - it's in my blood! Not meaning to toot my own horn, but wanting to save you sorting through the list, here are my Jaime/Oscar stories (at least what I can remember, off the top of my head).

Taboo
Sacrifice
Masquerade
A Killing Anger
Exposed
Consequences

and two "M"s:

Happy Birthday, Oscar
Alone

And for the Jaime/Oscar fans, anything written by Messyhead or the author called Weaving Dreams will send you into swoon mode! A new author on fanfic, Molly1414, has been turning out impressive J & O pieces, too.

I have read (and thoroughly enjoyed) all of them. I especially liked the "Alone" story - very good. I just liked the story line - the way you developed them being together.

I have read these as well... You can tell I really am an "OJ Fan" :) I love the ones messyhead has written - especially the new one. It was almost too hard to read - I felt so bad for Oscar - but i loved it anyway. I also like the nessie-pie, weaving dreams and Molly1414 - I just can't remember all the stories. What happened to Lurker? They had some really good stories, but they were a while ago....

I completely forgot about Neesie Pie - sure wish she'd write another tale for us! I wrote a message to Lurker about a year ago, but never heard anything back. She doesn't appear to be actively writing these days, though.

That's a shame. She wrote some excellent pieces. I liked the one she wrote in first person. It was unique and really rang true.

Yeah, the Lurker seemed to have traded in TBW for Gunsmoke! That's quite a genre change. Too bad.

She doesn't seem to have been actively posting anything for several months, though. A shame - her BW stuff was really good!

Her BW stuff was really good! She walked the line on the Oscar/Jaime relationship. Was it love, was it father/daughter? But then of course there's that weird thing going on between Oscar and Rudy too - or at least Rudy seems to be harbouring some 'feelings' toward Oscar. Oi! It's a complicated world!
