NONE of mine is pithy - I ramble too much. Also, some of my earlier, unpublished stuff, I just wrote off the cuff, really giving no thought to plot or content and when I went back to read it, it was just drivel. And it seemed so good at the time :)

But when you ramble, you do it so vividly - and so well!

Well, thank you, but you haven't seen the unpublished stuff :) It takes me months to write a story and polish it to where it's acceptable for others to see. I guess I'm just critical of my own writing.

For me, the most frustrating thing is to look at these older stories...and think about how much more I could do with them now!

The frustrating part for me is to think of how much time I had last year to write. I just don't have as much free time now, and it takes so long to finish anything.

Me too! Drives me nuts! A sentence here, a sentence there, and never enough time to really get going on it. If I just had time...I'm sure I could write a work of true genius. Okay, well, maybe not, but better, anyway.

I'm determined to finish at least one of the stories I'm working on by the end of next month. I'll just have to focus on ONE instead of all of them :)

Yup. Pithy and too short. Some good ideas back then and just glossed over too quickly. Or maybe 'quickly' was better and my muse just talks too much now - LOL!

B4E I imagine you are your own worst critic. I think I have read your work and do not find any of them "pithy". Do you have any that you have not put on here or anywhere else online?

There are 2 posted here that never went to fanfiction.net - and over 100 there that aren't posted here. But a story never posted anywhere...there was only one. It followed the story where Rudy turned out to be Jaime's real father and it just wasn't working. I set it aside for a little while and then the hard drive it was saved on died forever. So it was gone. But it probably wouldn't have seen the light of day anyhow. A few false starts that never made it past the first chapter. Oh, and one story here that remains unfinished (that I will do something with eventually).

B4E that is a great track record! I would not question a story written in the past. The more you write the more practiced you become at writing. A sign of a good writer IMO is the fact you want all of your work to be the best. I for one look forward to any updates.

That's way I feeling like, to delete one of my old stories that I posted. I don't think the way I ended it was good, I did pretty good in the began though. I just didn't know what happen :(

Could if you a needed to make it better reposing something from a previous story on the forum? Just wondering.

I suppose I could...but the ones I'm thinking of are so bad that I'd rather not draw any extra attention to them...
