I TALK TOO MUCH! LOL!

My Steve and Jaime dolls (oops - action figures!) are still in their place of honor on my computer monitor, but I must also confess that my computer is set to play the SMDM opening - 'Steve Austin, Astronaut...' - when I turn it on and the closing credits theme when it shuts down. It also makes various bionic noises (ear ping, jumping, etc) for its different functions.

Anyone else have any strange (or not-so-strange) bionic confessions?

It's part of the entire theme, which, unfortunately, does tend to slow the computer down a bit. I don't know of anyway to just get the sounds without the rest of the package, but I will check into it with my expert.

Oh....J & O....?

J & O tells me you have to have the whole theme - can't download just the sound effects. It's very cool, but does slow the computer down a bit. If anyone would like the theme, let me know and I'll find a link for you.

I wonder if there's a way to just copy the sounds and make them their OWN theme, with out all the extra stuff. I can try and experiment. I need the link though.

I know you can use Windows Movie Maker to "cut" sounds out of a file - only the portions you want - and then you can combine them with other sounds...Is that what you mean?

I am still hunting for the actual link. I have the file saved in Documents, but don't imagine that would help you....?

You can get just the sounds that you want. You have to download the whole package (the SMDM one has better sounds) and then apply the sounds you choose where you want them. It works! (See 'Bionic Theme' thread for link.)

Different computer - and Steve and Jaime are sitting proudly on a shelf now - but the computer still plays the opening and closing themes (for SMDM) when I turn it on and off!
