I know more about him after his first visit to the vet : according to his theeth, he is only 4month and a half. She said that fur will come back on his tail.
n ==< he has just came on my knees and put his paw on the keyboard, writting this letter. now I'm typing with left hand becausE he is lying down and his head is on my right arm.

I know also more abvfgggggggggggg welldfcvfd about his story : in fact he wasn't abandonned in a car but has run into a car when the person has opened it. This person couldn't/wouldn't keep him so he has went to police station in order to have policemen take care of him (and send him to an animal shelter).

Fidji seems to be a little rascal !! :D Glad to hear he was not an abandoned kitty but it is strange he wanted to enter into a stranger's car, he is a stray, an alley cat ?
Glad he came into your lives and brings you comfort.

Elise :)

Unfortunatelly, he can't speack and tell us what his previous life was.

I have to guess and figure it out.
He likes a lot playing with a mouse toy which hasn't interested at all KFC who has never lived outside so I think that he has already met mices.
He look at window and ask for going out so I guess that he was living most of time outside.
However he didn't look bad (no scratch, no fleas neither real ones, nor identification one) so the vet told me that he probably was living in a family before leaving. The question is why he left???Is it linked with the problem he had on his tail?

While it's quite possible he's encountered mice before, that might not necessarily be the case. Bubba was born in my house, had never gone outside and yet adored his toy mice. It's called hunter's instinct and one theory is that it's somehow tied to cats' genetic composition because through the years, only the strongest hunters were able to survive. This instinct is also why they pounce on your toes when you wiggle them under a blanket.

You've done some great detective work here! I agree that the bare tail tip could be a clue. Maybe he ran away from an abusive home... or the family had a dog or another cat that injured him. The tail injury also could've happened once he was already 'on the street'. Maybe, since he's still so small, he was part of a litter of kittens and just slipped out the door one day as someone was leaving - either without being noticed at first or too quickly for anyone to catch him.

His past will probably always remain a mystery, but it's his future in such a loving, welcoming home that matters now - and makes him a truly lucky cat, indeed!

Fidji is a cute cat, Bionika. He's part Siamese? Let me guess, he's got quite the meow on him, right? My first cat was a Siamese Calico. She looked like a Calico, but when she opened her mouth -- it was all Siamese :D

Hello Inanna

No, he hasn't any Siamese blood in his veins. His name comes from the actual season of Survivor in France!!! ;) :D

For the moment being, I'm a little concerned about him because he suffers from diarrhorea.
The vet has fist game him food complements in order to restore his intestinal flora but has things haven't improved (it's quite the opposite) , today she gaves him medics and special food.
I hope he will be better but if not at begining of next week, she will do analysis.

Sometime, joy can come with litle things like Fidji's poos becoming a little more hard...and he has more appetite and also play more.

I second Beth's comment !! Hope Fidji gets better more and more.
Maybe the change of home has an effect of stress on him, it would not be surprising after what he came through. He must be an anxious kitty. He has to get more confidence.

SHH! He is sleeping on the computer table in front of the keyboard, his head on my left arm and his back stuck to my belly.

Thank for asking Beth.
He is doing better. He still does several poos but now they are shaped and have consistency of chocolate mousse. He has again reached the weight he had when he arrived at home 15 days ago. I'll phone the vet tomorrow in order to determine what to do now.
