I only remember something about it The Martians are Coming. It seems like when she was put in that refrigerator, she had to have that guy rub her arm to warm up her bionics. I don't think it was ever specific about how MUCH they are affected etc... I don't recall Steve's ever acting up in the cold.

Actually I think Steve was put in a refrigerator too, (on another occasion, of course) and it depleted his strength quite a bit.

I think it was the episode where he got really mad at the Dickie-Dee ice cream guy, who gave him a Revello when he wanted a Fudgesicle. He ran after the truck, and caught it of course (by the bumper) but unfortunately the driver was a clever devil and he invited him inside the freezer to choose another and then locked him in! Steve would have been okay if he hadn't eaten all the guy's frozen dairy products and made himself even more cold. Not to mention sick. Finally the driver took pity on him and dropped him off at the nearest hot dog cart, where Steve had coffee and a hot dog and then went to the local police department to report the incident.

Just another day in the exciting world of espionage!

Dickie Dee???? No comment :) We have the Good Humor Man :)

While at the police station, he spied a box of freshly baked donuts which called to him - beckoning him to eat them. As he complied, he was caught by the owner - a portly officer who promptly threw into the lockup - with the Dickie Dee guy who had just been caught for his dastardly deed.

Nope - have I been missing something fabulous? We just have the good humor man who drives around in a white truck with a little tinkling music box. Steve always thought of the good humor man as the pied piper :)

Same guy, different name. Dickie Dee is certainly a lot funnier than Good Humour Man. Or I should say HUMOR.

Dickie Dee is FAR more HUMORous... In this case, I think you'd have to defer to the American spelling :) What a name :) SOOO easy isn't it?

In "Hocus Pocus", he is locked up in a cold room too ! Fortunately, he has his little assistant what's her name who has divinatories gifts and who succeeds to change him from a room, the villain is Pernell Roberts.

Elise :)

The first time the effects of cold were mentioned was in 'Population: Zero' when he is locked in a freezer. It's also in 'Dark Side of the Moon'.

Yeah, it was Population Zero I was thinking of...the one where he throws a bit of chain link fencing...just like Jaime does in Deadly Missiles.

I think it has to be QUITE cold for their bionics to stop working. We've had them seize up in chilly weather...and that can't be right. We have seen Jaime cavort in snow, after all. I think it has to be stinking cold.

Yes, it seems it has to be well below freezing to have an effect.
