Get out of here. Your contributions are frequently CRITICAL to keeping the narrative moving.

I don't know how critical they are, I'd say I'm just an addict that enjoys posting. I frequently have to keep myself from jumping in, and allow others a turn...

For me it's the missions that strain my brain. I don't find them that interesting (partly because I never think up clever mission "devices") and I feel like I'm hamstrung by my own ignorance. But it's ALWAYS dangerous, and somebody ALWAYS might die and they never do, of course!

Don't be too sure about that - mwahahaha!!! fdsaijh

I think I'm the worst offender! Especially when I'm still getting to know all of you and try to feel out your different writing styles and what you might expect. And I'm lousy at the mission stuff. I can't think of ideas, I'm not good at science, computers or intrigue and I really don't care too much about it.

I like relationships and why people do what they do. I want to know exactly why Oscar loves Jaime, why she loves him or in the other case Steve. I want to know what is on Steve's mind when it's an Oscar world and vise versa. I want to know what makes people tick. I'm quite happy saying and Oscar almost got killed on that last mission, let's not let that happen again and now on to whatever--dinner, movies, kissing. I want to know what makes the characters more than just names on paper.

I love writing romance and I do enjoy writing sex, when it's appropriate. I love writing scenes that you know will led up to sex but don't go there for us. As for the sponge bath--you can't take it too far in that scenario. Steve has no idea who this woman is. It doesn't matter what's he's been told, he has no conscious knowledge of her. To press her advantage on him would be a very unladylike like thing for Jaime to do. But she could while giving the bath think of how she likes to see his bare chest, how she loves to run her fingers down it, or trace his scars, or play with the hairs there or how she admires his muscles etc. And will she ever be able to share those intimate moments with him again. But while giving the bath, she reveals none of that to Steve. MHO.

A friend of mine who often writes in M land said that she thinks she has it figured out. If you mention a woman's breast, that a man is aroused while french kissing, it's a T. If you mention that the breast is bare, that the man is aroused because while they were french kissing the woman removed the blouse to make the breast bare it's an M! urzjtu

Very well said melchycat...I don't think Jaime would ever take advantage of Steve, though it's not exactly as if she'd be forcing herself on him, and I don't think he'd CARE if he remembered her or not anyway - he barely meets some of the ladies we see him with, so why would she be any different?

I am 100% there with you - I find the personal stuff - the what makes them tick stuff so much more interesting. I've LOVED the LBL that vscn started - I thought that really got at the heart of some of their emotions.

BTW, I was just thinking to myself how wonderful I thought your posts were - so well written, and they really get to the heart of the matter,. I wish you would write a story too!!!!!!!! I know what you mean about feeling like you need to write what others expect, making your style mesh - I feel the same way, even though I know I am a hypocrite, because I would tell you and anyone else to just write what YOU want and HOW you want, even though I dont' take my own advice.

I really like the LBL's because we don't get many O/J stories posted here, so the LBL's are the next best thing. I love hearing other peoples ideas too!

I know that Steve wouldn't care a flip! But it wouldn't be fair to Jaime and it could hurt their relationship later on. Sure he would be doing it with his girlfriend, but he only knows that because he's been told that's what she is and it would really mess with her mind and feelings, I would think.

I am in the middle of writing a story. I started it, had the beginning approved by messyhead and Oscarfan and hope to get some quality time to start it soon! I'm glad you like my posts--thanks. Sometimes I think, I talk too much! 7654h

I ALWAYS think I talk too much! Some people assure me that I don't, but I think they are only being kind.

Actually if you meet me in person, I'm quite shy and don't say much at all. But in a forum like this, I could go one forever!

I used to be quite shy, and still am a bit of an introvert depending on the situation. Once I get to know people though, I'll yack your ear off. I like the forum too for the same reason, though I really miss the interaction you get in person. It's hard to "read" people if you can't see their expression or body language, or hear the tone in their voice.

I hope you do go on forever! I love reading posts :)
