I'm not SURE that was what they were going for :) Then again, can Pierce REALLY think he was as good as Abba????

No, probably not the idea! Pierce's singing actually seems better once you get over the expectation that it will be like the original version. At first I thought it was awful but now I can hear it without cringing. Amanda Seyfried has a great voice though.

Which one was she - the young girl? I could see liking him better after I was over the initial shock :)

She was my favorite singer in the movie. I thought she did a great job - comparable to the quality of the actress on the stage.

I have to say I prefer the movie soundtrack to the regular songs. I had a couple of songs from the play but found them way too professional and didn't stir the same emotions of laughter, joy and sadness that the movie one does. I don't mind Pierce, even though, no he shouldn't quite his day job, because in life no one is perfect and I think it reflects on that. Amanda Seyfried does have an amazing voice.

I love Josh Groban and Michael Buble and listen to them often. I also really like Mandy Moore and Jordin Sparks. Mostly I listen to soundtracks and have learned to like a lot of different artists that way.
