No...but it was in the works - possibly only as a follow-up to Kill Oscar at that point, but the word was that LW did NOT want to do it. Unsure if it's true, but have read it repeatedly over the years. |

There's probably at least some truth in it. I can see her holding out for that episode (Biofeedback) to be made because it was very important to her. |

I seem to remember someone telling me this was brought up at the first Bionicon, by either Lindsay herself or by Kenny. Any attendees have input on this? |

Heavens knows she put up with a lot of sill episodes - how about that one with the aliens? Come ON! Just because it was a sci-fi show (and NOT like most) does it have to be ridiculous? Can't there be SOME basis in reality??? |

But I bet you liked those episodes because Steve and Jaime were together, right? Not because of Bigfoot and aliens? I think the plot was intended give the 9 year old boys a thrill. I don't know if it worked on anyone else...? |

Yeah, I think that men in general liked those types of episodes more than women. My brother LOVED them. |

As a man here....I did like the Bigfoot episodes...due to the fighting and the action. Not everthing is about emotional outcry...the SMDM was clearly for guys..in how it was made and packaged. Also really, cutting us guys down because were guys and like action more then emotional scenes. I still like the Bigfoot episodes and the Death Probe, and the Kill Oscar...they all had action in them. Loved Jaime and Steve together in BF and Kill Oscar..those were my favorite. Like Vega and Deadly Ringer in BW..action as well as some emotional out bursts. Its clear that the two shows had a different sex in mind, in how they packaged each. Nothing wrong with either...both shows could have learned a bit from the other on how to pull the best from both.

Hey, nobody is cutting guys down. How old were you when you first saw it? Young, right? And it creeped you out, right? If you were older you might not have liked it so much, and probably some of your attachment to it now is based on how much you liked it as a kid. I'm just guessing. When I saw it as an adult I thought it was, well, dumb. And it's NOT that I think everything should be a big old love story with lots of emotional scenes. Far from it! That's a stereotype too... |

I agree- I don't think you need all emotional scenes - I like action too, I just liked BW BETTER because of the way it was done. As a little girl, it didn't hurt that there was a woman as the main star either. I just think SMDM was MORE geared towards men - not a good or bad thing, just the way I see it. I wouldn't cut guys down either because they like more action scenes. Not at all. Most guys DO seem to like Bigfoot and Kill Oscar BECAUSE of the action scenes. I don't mind them, I just have other favorites. |

Of course I'd be a big fat liar if I didn't admit it's the "human interest" in TBW that interests me the most. Honestly I find the bionics mostly boring - when the slow motion starts I feel the urge to fast forward. But I did like the human-robot fights a lot. They were fun and genuinely creepy. I never was an SMDM fan, but there were other non-angsty non-girly series I liked a lot. I loved Mission Impossible, Star Trek, Gunsmoke, Rockford, etc. etc. etc... |

I hope I did not offend anyone here. I was just sticking up for us guys. I now, as I stated before can see the two series and enjoy both on a different level then I did back in those days. Sorry if it came off harsh or anything. All the ladies here have my deep respect. I have to admit that now I do enjoy some of the human interest stories a bit more...with age comes wisdom I guess. Still love the fight scenes, the aliens, and robots. Hope the best to everyone.
