We definitely need (and welcome!) the male viewpoint! And while I picked on aliens in the mountains as unlikely, I've gotta admit - just how likely is bionics anyway...?

Oh goodness, you didn't come off harsh to me - not at all - nor did you offend me. I don't know if I speak for everyone, but I doubt you offended anyone else either :)

I think it just shows a difference between men and women that's all. I too like some action shows and movies, and I also find I enjoy some of the SMDM episodes, I just far prefer BW. A lot of that has to do with Jaime and Oscar's characters though.

I will always be a sucker for the Jaime/Steve back story that Kenny crafted so well! c8654

I hope I did not offend anyone here. I was just sticking up for us guys. I now, as I stated before can see the two series and enjoy both on a different level then I did back in those days. Sorry if it came off harsh or anything.

All the ladies here have my deep respect. I have to admit that now I do enjoy some of the human interest stories a bit more...with age comes wisdom I guess. Still love the fight scenes, the aliens, and robots.

Hope the best to everyone. yide

That's okay. You go ahead and stick up for the fellas.

I'd hate for you to think I was against 9 year old boys! In fact, I quite like them. Even if I don't agree with their tastes most of the time.

Other than another 9 year old boy, who DOES agree with their tastes? I've HAD a 9 near old boy remember :)

Oh yeah, and just for the record, 9 year old girls have TERRIBLE taste too! ;) If they had their way, the entire world would be drenched in pink...and sparkly things.

You mean the way I drenched my shag carpeting with a million sequins and beads (to my mother's horror) because I thought it would look like a princess carpet?

:D That's so funny! I can imagine your mother's horror. I wonder how many times with the vacuum cleaner that took to clear up! Still a 'princess carpet' was a nice idea.

Ooohh nooo....SHE didn't need a vacuum cleaner. Or that matter neither did I. No, I got to pick them up BY HAND. It took a week. When we moved a year later, my mom was STILL finding sequins and beads in that carpet. Did I mention for a split second I had thought of adding....GLITTER???

Oh now that would have been fun to pick up by hand!! You really did have a special carpet in mind.

No, it was really long, thick shag carpeting, and the sequins didn't hurt. Probably a stray bead or two did. I don't know WHAT I was thinking - I HAD to have known my mother would skin me alive.
