It's funny how all your sense leaves you when you're a kid - you must have really really wanted a princess carpet! It's an adorable impulse.

By the way...did the carpet look as beautiful as you had imagined it would?

Oh, it was better than I could have ever imagined. It was a bright yellow carpet, filled with sparkling, glittering beads and sequins - ALL over the floor. I was quite impressed and thought I must have the most beautiful room in the world :)

Mom foolishly bought them for us so we could make jewelry and other decorations. She also used them to sew into a ballerina tutu for me for Halloween. BIG MISTAKE! We had all kinds of crafty crap like that. Hmmm It seems mom stopped buying that stuff shortly after "the incident".

And I thought picking J & O's Legos and bits of Play-dough out of the carpet was bad!

Oh yes, memories of Lego!! I used to find bits of it everywhere. Those super tiny pieces seemed to have feet of their own and travelled to every corner of the house. Of course being so expensive (or vital to some construction project) I could never just vacuum but had to pick them out of the carpet first.

And wasn't it fun stepping on those Legos in the middle of the night, in bare feet?

Another elephant in the operating room:
I wanted to write triplets for Steve and Jaime - and was going to - until I looked up the statistics. Before modern fertility drugs, the odds were only 1 in about 700. :(

Yet Richard Thomas (John-Boy) has them. Heck, there were even quadruplets before fertility drugs. The question is - who WANTS quadruplets? Yikes! Even twins would be hard enough - I mean there ARE certain...physical constraints :) She's not a cow after all!
