Taken care of! (And I'm really looking forward to when I can sit up longer at the computer and read what looks like quite a wonderful story!)
Hello Beth

Thank you very much for your help. yide bjd
Thank you too if it's you who have reduce the size of the pictures on chapter 19bis. I succeeded with the first one, then do it in a different way with the last three one...and failed!

Take your time and have rest (even if I miss a lot your everyday's comments on stories). It's already great to have you back nearly everyday on the site with many posts.

And, in your opinion , how old could be his daughter, Reiko?

Bionika
There's an 'Agent Harding' listed in the Wiki, but not sure if that's him. But I'm betting no one else remembers his name either - so you'd be safe calling him whatever you like and just giving a little bit of background so your readers know who he is. Reiko was probably about 9, give or take a year.
Thank too for your answer Beth.

My first idea was to have him have a meeting at O.S.I. about the security of his daughter Reiko who will leave the elementary school for secondary school (so it's was why I wanted to know her age in order to know it it could fit the story).

As I hadn't any answer when I was writing the story, I decided to call him "Nor-Li" and simply speack about the security of his daughter Reiko, so background is here.

Hello Beth

When you'll be in better shape and have enough time, would you mind correct another type mistake in chapter 27's title: I've written "Rats, vacations anf formulas" instead of "Rats, vacations and formulas "?

Thank in advance.

Hello Beth

I need your help for chosing the correct word, while describing a chopper (and I know that know you are unbeatable on it).
The name I would like to translate is the bottom of the helicopter, witch touch the ground when it is landed (on which Jaime grasps in episode "Fembots in Las Vegas").
My dictionnary gave me "shoes" but on your story "the bite of the cobra" you said "skids".

Which word is the better one? shoes or skid? (other readers can help too).

Thank in advance for your help.

write a story in English and then translate it into French
In fact I don't write completely the whole story in French and then translate. I think that it would be boring and perhaps less creative. Some parts are done like that but a main part isn't so precise and are general ideas of what is happening. So for these parts it's not exactly a translation and it let my imagination going on for adding details and precisions but I still need to use a lot the dictionnary for ckecking words or sentences. So the English result is larger than the Fench draft and it's funny : for instance I made two typed pages (perhaps 3 or 4 chapters) with the sentence in draft : "they entered and searched for the fugitives". Then I let computer's spellchecker doing his job.

I think that it has improved my English because at the beginning I was searching in French part of dictionnary for the translation and now I use also English part for checking what I
have written.

The only points which could be annoying are the fact that all my characters have the same speech tone : dictionnary one ! ;) :D and mainly that it took me very long for having a written English version from a draft. I'm able to post only 1 to 3 stories a year (depends if they are long or not too, or if I need to check details by internet researches or watching again episodes of the shows too) even though I have already 12 drafts to translate after the one I'm doing now.

Well , I don't need a big help today; it's rather a poll : in your opinion what would be Admiral Richter's first name?

Looking at his picture in Bionic Wiki (which doesn't give his first name HYSEE ), I would say "Donald". And you?

Who has knowledges in medicine (or was also a huge fan of "ER") and could help me?

How do you call the device used for providing oxygen to patient with a sort of balloon pressed with hand? I would like to call it "manual insuflator balloon" but I'm not sure about the terms.

Thank in advance.

It's called an 'ambu bag' and the person using it on a patient is said to be 'bagging' them'.

Here's some good info:

AMBU Bags
