there's no spoilers, it's just some words from Kojima / Kyle Cooper / Geoff Keighly / Rowan Atkin Downes / Greg Miller / Troy Baker

just a little praising video, then a really nice sentiment from Kojima to some kid who was ill.

eh not really spoilers that im worried about, just would rather see that stuff after having experienced it. Like (for ex) the Rage CE had a 'making off' Rage where they just dick sucked it, the game was mostly bad so the video was total shit, but I would only know that after having played it...

It's nothing really about the game, it's more people just thanking Kojima to have worked with him.

Tfw this is the only series I've played, consistently, since day 1 up to MGSV's launch.

Tfw this is the last Metal Gear. Sure, Konami will make more, but they won't be Metal Gear, not without Kojima.

Tfw this game is the end of an era and a chapter in my gaming life. Feels bad, man. Feels real bad...

Nah man it feels great. The series can legit go out on a high, everything else is fucked till its a bloody corpse, MGS even if Konami continue to make them is dead and over and everyone who cares will be more than aware.

MGSV is the goodbye the series deserved. It's brilliant.
Was a nice little video but a bit empty, bit odd going to visit the parents of a dead kid though, handing out copies of the game, like sorry for your loss, here's some games?

But yeah, I'm still hoping a month or two Kojima lets loose and puts up a video in the style of the MGSR video and let's fucking rip with what the fuck happened

Wasn't getting at how I want it to continue. I don't.

It just feels bad, because I literally grew up with this series that is almost as old as I am. A lot of people my age who game, Mario or Zelda is their jam, it's their ''childhood'' but for me, it's Metal Gear.

The ending of this definitely made me tear up a bit as well. That was really cool of Kojima to visit that guy's family. When I saw the Rex in his room and all the MGS items in his room, that was emotional for me. To know that playing MGS was the only thing that would make him feel better while battling cancer, that hit the feels.

As you guys have been discussing, this is the gaming series that defines my entire childhood. Without MGS1, I don't know if I ever would've become a gamer at all. This series made me love video games. For it to be ending is so fucking bittersweet. I'm so happy for Kojima and his team, they can finally move on from Metal Gear. I'm also so happy for them because they went out with a bang. MGSV is absolutely fantastic and it's the way this series deserves to go out.

How are you finding TTP thus far? I know you didn't much care for GZ's

I am very much enjoying it. I really like the openness of it, and I'm liking how the AI changes as you play, to counter your abilities (if you continuously use tranqs, they adapt, etc.)

I really like D-Horse and how he controls, and the side saddle mechanic is really neat and effective. I've been doing a lot of Side Ops lately, they're really well done. The game is basically PW2, but that's all good. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I have come to grips with a lot of my gripes that I've had, because at the end of the day a lot of my issues are avoidable (the rocket punch, etc). So I'm gonna enjoy it for what it is; the last MG we're gonna get.

Your description just brought a tear to my eye.

D-horse is dope, the ability to be running at full sprint and whistle for D-horse and hop on without losing any speed is so fucking cool.

As much as I enjoyed GZ, for what it was. It was just a glorified demo for the Fox Engine. For the players to get accustomed to it. But after playing TPP, GZ is just fucking awful in comparison. lol

I will be surprised if I ever play it again. If I do, it would be to show friends the main story mission.

It's just mind-blowing because I put in about 48 hours into GZ. A lot of time for a one-map game. Then while just free-roaming in TPP, I just randomly come across some enemy barracks or a base, that is 2x the size of Camp Omega alone.
