Wat FOX is FOX. The unit. From [it] two phantoms were born, one of them is Big Boss the other is Venom. Big Boss becomes a phantom in his own right when he decides to dash to a bunker and let Venom do his dirty work. Hi guys I'm new here and I came from mgi I'm leguywhodrownedquiet aka random sniper and I think if there really was story doc it could hint venom being schizophrenic and if it doesn't my phantom pain becoz of the fucking cut content will never be healed |

I don't believe there's gonna be any DLC, I mean I guess we would know about it already instead of it being secretly being made ;). I can understand wanting it after still feeling Phantom Pain. I try my best to enjoy the game as it is :). So was that Black Hound some upcoming Kojima related stuff? I haven't followed the info on that so dont know if it's a good fake. |

First off, i wanna mention the things i liked about the game and follow it by the things i disliked. I liked: 1- The whole theme of language and the vocal cord parasites/wolbachia, it was original and creative. 2- The voice actors were so good! when i heard the real Big Boss's voice at the end of the game, it sounded SO different than the phantom. As Avi Arad said.. Kiefer has a voice full of mystery. Hoped to hear more from him.. ;'/ the best for me was Robin atkin downes tho. 3- The gameplay is phenomenal! 4- As a student of medicine myself, i liked the plot a lot because it had a lot of things to do with medicine ;'D the phantom Big Boss is a medic himself! i can relate to him in a way ;'D 5- I liked the character of Skull Face, even tho he was a maniac. His speeches are so GOOD and deep. 6- There was a moment when you're forced to kill the infected DD soldiers.. one of the soldiers say "We live and die by your order BOSS!" that was so GOOD. I disliked: 1- The fact that almost EVERYONE suspected there will be a body-double. I mean.. you guys remember the "Not your kind of people" trailer.. and "What about him?" quote.. That scene alone opened a lot of speculation of a body-double. I really think Kojima should have cut that part out of that trailer. 2- The way Skull Face died.. the scenario was bad.. Skull Face corners Big Boss and gives him a speech about language in his car(as if he was trying to convince him to join forces).. shows big boss sahelanthropus and dies. Dafuq.. Anti-climactic as fuck. 3- Kaz became a little annoying trying to dispose of Quiet and Huey. 4- Chico just died.. i mean.. they could have just done something else with his story. 5- The events of the story were short, not much happened. 1. That is true. I think the best way this would have been avoided, if Kojima cut that moment or if GZ and TPP would've released together as one. We had what, 2 years time to think of EVERY sort of theory out there. So I think it kind of ruined the surprise for some. I did always think that the 3rd person is either, Chico or the player. Just like in Ground Zeroes Big Boss say to us, "Kept you waiting, huh?". So here Kaz talk to us, are we okey after all the shit MB went through. But since the moment didn't happen at the start of the game, I thought it was cut off :D... Which was surprising it was shown in the end after all. 2. Yeah it felt weird to me also. He was interesting villain imo with all the past info relating to Zero etc. But he didn't have much any special powers for example like Volgin and got just crushed. I enjoyed watching him getting chopped to pieces though, lol that was brutal! Mothafucka had it coming :). 3. I hear some missed the PW Kaz, but I wasn't bothered by him so much. He's just full of hate in TPP and loved him in the post credit conversation, "Now I've really lost it all!". 4. I expected he was dead when didn't see in any trailer, its a bit sad though :(. 5. They were pretty scattered and the game feels longer, so the story can be hard to remember all the time. If think about other MG, it's a straight line from cutscene to cutscene and can call codecs, but here gotta travel long distances and at some point see something + listen the tapes. I think that's why it feel so different. |

I thought venom was pretty interesting but not the medic.A random medic is the 2nd best guy in MSF maybe he has the second best shooting skills and the best medic but...... |

Hey welcome to the other side bro :). Yeah I think he has something like that, because of the brain injuries and made to copy Big Boss etc. Something mental as he's seeing images of a demon in him. Also leguy, the song "Man Who Sold The World", I'm not sure I quite understand the lyrics but does it hint at that also? Anyway, Big Boss sold his world. Btw I love this song so much. Venom is Venom, there is only ONE Big Boss, as seen by MG1 and MG2, and how BB leads you to eliminate Venom in MG1. Venom may excel in combat and be up there with Big Boss, but Big Boss he isn't. |

The song is said to be about Bowie meeting an old friend he lost contact with and presumed dead, due to drug addiction. Bowie's friend interjects and mentions he never lost control, but he sold the world [he gave up his job, his life, etc. to drugs]. |

He used to be the Medic, but not anymore. Zero ordered him to become made total mental copy of him, knowing everything of his past too. Well yeah Venom kick ass, but deep inside they are the same person ;). |
