Flu/cold 3.0 ongoing. I hate this winter... Two different sort of feelings: Pissed off and liberated. Pissed off, because I had a talk with my crush, since she's been rather cold towards me for the last two months or so, and now she plainly said she has no interest to fix things between us even though there are no problems other than her nonsensical feeling of anguish whenever I'm around. She couldn't explain why she feels anguish with me, just stated that she's not interested to look into it. Yeah... So that's that. Which is why I feel liberated. There is quite nothing I can do, because she's crazy. Zilch. So I feel like a chapter has ended and I'm finally free to look into other revenues. I still care about her, and should she change her mind at some point I will see what we can do, but since that is unlikely I am now focused in other things in my life. And I actually feel that way. I feel that way too now, she doesn't even want us to be on friendly terms, she's just going to endure my presence till our remaining two months in this community ends. A lot of hurt feelings in that direction, so I may as well do myself a favor and force myself to look the other way. I've already signed up for this movie club that's gathering every week to work on a project, then there are some new people and foreign exchange students I've recently gotten acquainted with, so I should have more or less activity for the evenings that don't include her. @Matieo10: Apparently the fact I confessed to her freaked her out and now she's just unable to get over it. Which I find very odd, since she had a drunken lesbian affair with our common friend, which she ended almost immediately when she had sobered up. Ahh I see. That's a shame. I've been there before myself, although in my case, the girl I liked tried to embrace me as a friend whilst she was dating someone else, who happened to be a few years older than her and me. I was young and immature at the time, and kinda burned the bridge with my disapproval. In your case, she seems to be the immature one. I'm glad for you, because you're doing the right thing by moving on. There's no sense in staying in a gloomy state. As for her aftermath with that mutual friend of yours, well, you can simply look at that as same-sex fellowship. Women are alot more forgiving of other women, than they are of men. At the end of the day she probably didn't want to be anything more than friends - knowing that you've already confessed your affection for her does create a chasm of awkwardness during social functions. Live and learn, I suppose. |

Was supposed to go clubbing tonight with a couple of friends, but that plan fell apart. A quiet night at home is fine, but not when you have a mind-set to party. Doesn't help how my other friends post on Facebook about how much fun they're having with their own gangs atm. ò_ó |
