Do you know how important that intro music is to me? You know what seriously made want to play the game more than anything. When my brother first played it in 1998. When he put the game in and we watched intro cutscene, then DAT TITLE MUSIC. I remember being so young and thinking that is the coolest thing i've ever heard. It's hands down my favorite piece of MGS music out of all the games tied with Debriefing off of MGS3. The title music for MGS1 is not only haunting but so intense and attention grabbing. It literally makes you want to play the game. The worst part about the title screen is when you literally have to hit "O" to start a new game. I could listen to it for 10 min straight, no joke. Thank you for this Cartman. |

My most recent playthrough of the game I think I sat listening to it for 5-10 minutes before starting. It's my favorite video game menu ever It has that epic feel to it, you've been briefed a bit on the mission in the intro cutscene and then you reach the title screen, it just has that important, serious epic feel to it. I love the moving background as well, very good looking title screen. MGS4 actually has a good title screen too, but it does kind of lose it's impact after you've finished the game and realize that he didn't shoot himself |

Cartman, I hope you know you're responsible for me playing MGS1 again. I believe this will be somewhere along my 35th or 36th playthrough. Every time I hear that music...I just get this HUGE urge to play the game. |

yeah, ive not picked it up quite yet, going to wait for it to discount a little me thinks... the demo was so poor that I don't want to invest money in bad version of a game I already have an amazing version of |

I don't have a 3DS but I've played Super Mario 3D Land and I hate the 3D effect, I mean it looks 3D and all, but I get nauseous with the thing on, not for me at all Even if I did have one I wouldn't get MGS3 on it, it looks pretty fucking awful on that system |

I quite like my 3DS but I have to agree with you about SM3DL's 3D effect. I have no idea why everyone praises it as the first game to truly utilise the effect. (Though I found the game pretty meh overall anyway.) The 3D is great on RE: Revelations and some other games though. |
